Got a plumber coming today to unplug a clog in the sewer line in our front yard... sure to drain the bank account a bit more ...but at least it'll be fixed & I can start collecting materials to replace the garden shed roof...it just never ends.

Man after my own heart... I love my K25 pick-up.... it may be 35 y/o but it's sooo dang reliable & easy to work on .... Our '16 Equinox has turned out to be a great ride as well....

Know exactly what you mean @Saul....my carb synchronizer's tubes are getting pretty stiff from age as well. Don't have much use for them anymore as my bikes now just have pedals... Going w/ the chinesium route makes much more sense...especially w/ the wallet.

I can totally relate to that Bob....my lower back, on the left side just above my hip, has been giving me grief since 2012 when I high-sided off the Kymco cruiser I had. I've found that CBD oil helps w/ relief quite a bit...but of course, I ran out yesterday... I'll have to make another trip to Sumpter by next week before I drive to Portland on the 31st for a funeral, where I'll also get to see my son & Grandkids.

26f this morning....off to take Mrs. Hook to another session of physical therapy. She's doing well w/ her recovery...barely used the cane much now.

The real trick is to Gradually turn the heat up under the hot tap... Ask me how I know...

To my knowledge, they're made for fishing...

Ever tried these?.... I've used these a handful of years....they work pretty good & are affordable.

21f here this morning...3rd day in a row w/ clear blue sky's & high temps reaching almost 50f. Definitely getting another spin on the Mullet today....

...My old '74 DT 125 saw an indicated 73mph w/ my fat arse on it...I thought I'd won the lottery that day.

Myself, I enjoy doing that kind of work...especially if you've got an array of new parts for replacement. Inline 4's or parallel twins/triples are much more pleasant to deal with vs. wrestling w/ V4 carbs, which can sometimes be a real bitch.

Cool bike....reminds me of my Dad's '78 CB750k. He eventually gave it to my brother who's a wizard w/ a wrench. He pulled the head, gave it a hone w/ some fresh rings & a new gasket...it ran like a champ after the that.

Don't think you can go wrong with Yuasa....had great results with them over the years w/ my Bikes.

My Christmas season has been spent looking after Mrs. Hook w/ her new knee...gotta admit that I'm proud of her for doing well w/ her recovery. Seeing consistent increments of improvement everyday. Kind of anxious to see how well she'll be doing by our anniversary in Feb. Hopefully be mobile enough to do a day trip to Hermiston to see my Great G-son by then...
