I liked the 250 on all the back roads and a few trails i snuck in around Bridgend without blunder road knowing where i was left wanting was on the open roads hoping the 300 will bridge the gap. But i'm also considering a Beta X trainer the CRF is the sensible option but when have i ever been sensible lol

I spoke to Honda here to see if they had a demonstrator for me to have a go on and he just laughed at me. He said if i ordered one today i'd be lucky to get one by September the demand is so high they cant supply them fast enough. Luckily i know someone who has one and has offered me a go

I'd just like to point out that in Bobs video at 7m 40 odd where the guy says he undone the bracket with the water pump on, it is actually the thermostat housing

That's easy NGK and Denso are manufactures of spark plugs, NGK being the most common, CR7E is the plug number for the standard plug and is what you want, so search for NGK CR7E this is not specific to your bike this will be the plug number for probably hundreds of different bikes

I think the seat height is about 4" higher than your BM but it's a lot lighter

I've accepted this had to be done now so taken the cylinder off to get it honed and going to fit a new set of rings i'm too close not to do this

No problem with any of the rocker cover bolts and I snapped the exhaust studs many years ago had to drill one out but i replaced them all with stainless steel Alan head bolts and they undone like i put them in yesterday. One of the headers is seized into the Arrow end can but that's not stopping me from doing the work. i got it soaking with penetrating oil I've done a few of these tensioners before Bob the first time was a potch until i found this video on line

Just go to a bike shop and tell them you want spark plugs for whatever bike you got they will do the rest. If they offer you a choice just tell them whatever comes in there as standard. Or if you look in the maintenance section of a Haynes manual it will tell you what you want and you can order on line . This is what it says for one of my bikes you will want the standard one

Started to strip the 650 to fit a new cam chain tonight as all the parts i needed turned up today Had to strip the carb off to get the rocker cover off which was a right pain on this bike this is how it looks at the moment when i took the clutch cover off i noticed a bit of black plasticky stuff. Couldn't work out what it was at first or where it come from but after taking the cam chain out i could see wear on the crank case from the chain and then the horror dawned on me bloody cam chain guide is worn out and that bit of plastic was the side of it. To change it the head has to come off so new head gasket as well as the two chain guides This is the old chain and and the bit of cam chain guide i found floating about. The chain is totally fucked i'm lucky it hasn't snapped So now i have to sit and wait for more parts before i can rebuild it

So what your suggesting is he buy some and then try to cut his leg off to see how they perform because that's the only way you will know they work for sure

I remember talking to a few mates years ago about chain saws when the one said to us what do you have chainsaws for neither of you have log burners and at exactly the same time we replied what the fuck has that got to do with it, some just don't get it
