  1. probably because Spain take more money per month off you through your working life giving you a better pension for your retirement. Here in the UK if your wise enough you can provide for a better retirement by taking out a personal pension from a young age. Just like you i didn't bother so in 15 years i will be on here moaning about how i didn't save for my future by slagging off my shit pension
  2. I've had a thought maybe a stupid thought but if its someones first time hearing how do they understand what someone else is saying if they have never heard words before
  3. I can only imagine how you feel that's great news. videos like this always gets me so i imagine you were something like this
  4. And something else they don't tell you is the batteries don't like being kept at 100% as it shortens their life and so does using the fast chargers to charge the vehicle. My boss has some big electric Audi Q4 thing and only found that info out reading the owners manual no mention of it in the sales pitch. when we had that freezing weather before Christmas his estimated range almost halved.
  5. Only if there was some ice cream melting into it
  6. My weekend doesn't start for another 7 days i'm working
  7. when the chunky kitkat came out it became my breakfast bar on the drive into work everyday, i got a solid chocolate one with no biscuit in once it was like finding gold
  8. You being a big lump might find it too cramped, for some reason i thought it looked small parked next to the KTM's and the Africa Twin when we were out. You will have to have a test ride to be sure and report back to Pedro
  9. No that's the second year in a run we've missed going now, first time was cancelled because of COVID, it's making us even more determined to go next year now LOL
  10. They look even better in the flesh and look great when your riding with them, i cant even say they looked odd from a certain direction like some bikes they just look good from all angles, i know a few with them and they say their very happy with them
  11. Yes I've done that and it sucks especially when you've been looking forward to it.
  12. The worst thing was the lack of energy i just couldn't bring myself to do anything in the first week even had to cancel our new years eve trip to Swansea we had planned. The second week i was a better but thought i would have some time out from all social media as 10 minutes on here catching up would usually lead me to hours and hours of watching mindless crap shit video shorts or whatever they are called now where I've been side tracked.
  13. I think if i had work the second week i would have dragged myself in, the weather was as bad as i felt and i am certain it added to the way i felt
  14. No I didn't i just felt to drained to do anything just lay there vegetating for the best part of two weeks
  15. I've had it so long i cant remember the start of it LOL. I think it was a sore throat, felt like it had closed up which led to aches and pains with cold shivers then sweats and a blocked up nose and a total lack of energy. That all turned into a phlegmy chest with a cough which i still have with a runny nose and the aches are back today but that might be because i worked 14 hours today. all started around Friday before Christmas.
  16. Yup same here Bob i'm just lucky i had a good run on the scrap when i was after one so it didn't hurt so much when i paid for it, another good thing is they all sell for £300 plus second hand. Its much better than carrying fuel in separate containers though that would be a pain in the arse as there's nowhere you can strap anything so you would end up carrying extra fuel on yourself
  17. Bournville is the best but without the rum and raisin and much better chocolate for a diabetic
  18. When out on the trails with others there always seems to be jelly babies available i never buy the fuckers but i always eat them LOL
  19. But done in a similar way and personally i think terry's photos are much better than horse shit you cheeky twat
  20. forgot about pear drops but they were the perfect shape to choke on LOL
  21. Yes but the cost is fucking ridiculous, i got an IMS tank for my Beta because their the only fuckers making them it cost £450 and what did that get, me a massive 2L more than the standard tank, worth having the extra fuel because now i'm looking for fuel the same time as everyone else on the ride but never worth the price
  22. When Terry puts up a good photo it's stunning but when i do it it's photoshop your nothing but a
  23. I remember working near burtons biscuits in Cwmbran area many years ago and on a Thursday you could go into the factory and buy large bags of all sorts of broken biscuits cheap. i went in once and came out with a large bag of wagon wheels there were 48 in there, i'm ashamed to say i ate them all that day
  24. As a kid it was three chews for a penny from the local shop, Mojo's and blackjacks, gob stoppers and sherbet fountains or i think they were called licorice Cathryn wheels then if i got a 1/4 from the jars it was either army and navy sweets, cola cubes, pineapple chunks or rhubarb and custard as a grown up it was anything but favorites were sports gums and Haribo tangfastics but two packs a night for years on end tends to get you a bit diabeticy so cant have anything now
