Bit of a cold one in work today discovered the van is shit in the snow this morning

Just had a look at the MOT and just noticed last years MOT had exactly the same advisories as this year i just didn't read it

Would have been nice to see it as an advisory the diff is mounted on 3 bushes this being one of them got an advisory on the other two this year

I don't mind him being a jobsworth i want to know when things are wearing out so i can keep on top of them This was a bush he missed last year i spotted it just by laying on the floor and looking at the rear diff plain as the nose on your face

I agree its the only time i look at mine and rely on them telling me if there's something wrong but i don't think the place i take it has looked at it properly for the last few years because the list of advisories he gave me this year didn't appear between last years and this years MOT i know because the thing has barely turned a wheel

They were talking about bringing in that type approval shit here many years ago where you had to buy genuine parts not aftermarket ones and parts like brake pads were included in that, they were even on about not changing the tyre the bike came with so if your bike came with a shit tyre from new you were stuck with it thank fuck it never went anywhere.

Temperature here today was 2 deg warmer than yesterday but it felt 4 deg colder fecking freezing, on the faster road sections my heated grips were fighting a loosing battle and it didn't help i had summer gloves on and only a T shirt under my jacket the dirty bits i'm never cold on the speed is low so no wind chill and your body is working harder so you generate heat

I like the Honda ones as they integrate neatly with the bike so you get the heat setting displayed on the screen plus the controller for the grips is built into them so no separate switch but even with all that to persuade me i'd still like them to get hot, i know fussy ain't i
