Had an interesting site visit today to a large house north of Ross on Wye. Just an old lady living in there now her husband passed away a few years ago. I will be digging her lawn up to lay a concrete slab for a new kiosk to sit on and digging a trench from the slab to the manhole for a duct. There were deer roaming around when i was there lovely place enough garden to keep Clive busy for the rest of his life

Fuck using incriminating cams on the road they only do bad.
But fingers crossed it will work out and I'll get some good footage for everyone to watch.
Just got to work out where to put the cam for the best view and so it won't just get a video of the speedo and rev counter
Cant fault the dash cams when they work in your favour, my daughter had a real easy claim after someone pulled out of a junction into the side of her car and then tried to blame her for it. Just remember to hide them if you've been a cock

I understand what you're saying Bob but it was a 93 mile round trip along allsorts of A and B roads to get to Bude and back. I find half the thing with a bike now is having a destination to aim for and if it has a friendly cafe and some bikes to look at all the better. Plus it was good to be out with my mates and youngest.
I have found the reason i ride the bike has changed over the years, for most of my biking life i didn't need a reason or a destination to ride i would just go and see where the front wheel took me, now with the road bike i seem to have to have a destination to get it out other wise i don't bother. I still go out just to ride with the trail bikes as i still feel like i want to go out on them hope that don't change.

The damage on the radiator looks like the cooling fins have been flattened easy to straighten with a small flat blade screwdriver a right pain in the arse to do but worth doing in your climate as it helps the cooling. Keep the jet wash away from the fins they flatten easy don't ask how i know.

While the weather was cold (December, January and February) the battery was kept inside, put it on the scoot a while ago, but hardly used the scoot since, it would help if there was power into the shed.
Just keep one lead disconnected see if it helps

Yeh battery is flat......I still blame the keyless ignition for it..
Just disconnect the battery when your not using the scoot.
I was going to say take it off and keep it in the house where it's warm but thought better of it- 1

‘Potching’ - that’s one I’d not heard before. I like it!
When i was in my late teens we used to have an older guy that fixed bikes in his garage his name was Dai potch or potchy for short.

Met Gary at 09.00 this morning and got home at 21.00 tonight so in 12 hours you would think we'd ridden about 500 miles but no we only covered 120 miles spent most of the time talking It was good to catch up with him probably been over five years since we last rode together he's 61 and retired all he does is cycle exercise and ride his motorbike jammy git.
And only managed to take one photo all day- 3

The weather is looking good here at the moment i'm not going to even look at the forecast as they get it wrong so often it should be called the weather guess, it's not hard to predict when you think about it, the question is simple is it going to rain or isn't it you could flip a coin and get it right 50% of the time they must be using a double headed coin though and betting on tails

Sounds like a great deal to me, the CRF will suit him perfectly. A lot easier to ride off road than a GN400
You know Gary he likes small light bikes so he was complaining about the weight LOL He also has a cb250 that hes using like the GN hasn't changed at all

Great news , it will be good to see Gary out again. Is he still on his Serow ?
It's a strange one hes got a mate with a bit of cash by the sounds of it who owns a few CRF250L's amongst other things, Gary was having a few electrical issues with the serow so his mate said give me the serow to restore and you can use one of the CRF's. Gary doesn't know if he will be getting the serow back once restored or keeping the CRF the CRF is registered in his name he said it don't matter to him which way it goes because it's not cost him a penny

My work shouldn't make too much mess, i dread to think what mess National grid is going to make when they dig the trench for the new cable, its going to be over 300m long straight through the whole garden
