  1. Ollerton? New seals and bushes arrived this morn for the other fork leg so they're now fitted. Fingers crossed.
  2. Could perch my bike wheel between them
  3. I'm beginning to suspect you're a bit keen on Joe.
  4. Can't beat a freebie and that's a big one.
  5. That's just changed the term thumper.
  6. Hope it goes smoothly and trouble free. Can be stressful times. Well jealous of the workshop and the space although I'd need a few more rabbits to take care of the grass.
  7. Congratulations to you and yours, you must be feeling old now.
  8. You made the most of it before the rain comes in according to the forecast.
  9. Don't put his nose out of point, we got a couple of pics.
  10. Stupidly I'm still riding it instead of fixing. Bit short on time at the mo and it's the only one currently with road tax. I'm thinking of stripping and running off a remote tank so I can have a proper pull about while ticking over. I'll get into it one day but keep throwing in the ideas. Oh, and I seem to be getting a little fork leak on the other side now.
  11. Took the dominator to Oulton Broad yesterday to check on the Rover I've been playing with only to remember the keys were in my car. Gave it an angry throttle full on the way home only to loose power and see the rev counter drop to nothing. Got down to about 10 MPH before all was well again. Spent the rest of the trip home behaving myself but pull every wire/plug I could get near. Think this is going to be another strip down for a look see.
  12. Shit that's loud
  13. Jake Dixon managed it in Moto2
  14. Nicely done sir.
  15. Don't trust mine to get to the shop and back at the moment.
  16. I could only get a finger or 2 on them but didn't seem to make any difference. I've no doubt it'll show itself again at the most inconvenient time.
  17. Earache has just reminded me of this I got sent Saturday morning, been giggling about it since.
  18. Should think 8 inches isn't as bad as what you could get.
  19. Next carb fitted and alls well with that and the fork leak. Must of had a dodgy seal or something. Got out for a 20 mile run and all was well until it coughed and spluttered to a halt. Not petrol as the rev counter was dropping to nothing and back up. Pulled over to the side of the road and pushed the button and it started again. Pushed and pulled all the connections I could give my hands on but sat there ticking over so rid home. Something to get into later. Couple of pics while out, this is the old town pump in somerleyton and the next is just an old good looking barn with a thumb for perspective, ,both on the same road.
  20. Good back drops this month but I went for Freds dirty Honda on the type of trails I like.
  21. After getting that carb back on I remembered why I took that old carb off. Bloody thing always ran like it was getting air in from somewhere other than it should.
  22. Is this what our new fuel is doing to our bikes? Got this out of the tank with the tap out and shaking it about That gasket's never going back in. I've used the body of a spare carb I had with the new needle valve just to rule out any probs with the seat.
  23. Tank off for me too, find out why reserve did nothing. Suspect this crap fuel coupled to the bike going nowhere over winter.
  24. That's what happens after a couple of beers, get frisky and bang the misses in odd positions. Hope you're feeling better soon.
