  1. It's a great beginner bike, very easy to ride. Light clutch, good breaks, nice torque (it requires some finesse to manage the accelerator at slow speeds though). Nimble and fun to ride at slow-ish speeds and great fuel consumption. It has the downside of all naked bikes, which is getting hit by the wind quickly, but other than that I love it.
  2. After one year of ownership... 5606 km (3483 miles), with an average consumption of 2,9lt/100km... (97mpg) and a lot of smiles!
  3. I work for a french bank as an IT Application Support Analyst.
  4. Went to the office today and had the chance to see the sunrise...
  5. If you're on a PC you can download the Irfan View app. https://www.irfanview.com/ It's free and it will open almost any image format. It also let's you convert several files at ones if you want/need. It has several other features, like resize, crop, etc... I've been using it for years. It's great.
  6. I haven't been in the UK yet, but my brother is living there, so eventually I will go visit him... The chances are slim, but not 0
  7. This means that I'm kinda safe if I don't meet any of you in person
  8. Salut @MooN!! Actually Pedro hasn't told me anything about you guys. Should I be scared ?
  9. Thank you all for your warm welcoming messages. Just a few more details about myself and the Bike : I'm a noob (and slow) rider despite having the motorcycle driver's license for more than 20 years. The CB500F is my first bike. I bought it with the comfort pack (which includes the Smoked Windscreen, Heated Grips and the 12v Accessory Socket), a pair of Barracuda sliders and added a Puig tank pad that I bought before having the bike. I let it fall while practising slow speed maneuvers and broke the brake lever, so replaced the stock levers by some Puig folding ones. It has now around 5500 km (3415 miles) and it has been great and I enjoy every second I'm on it. As @Pedro said, I commute to work on it (about 50km per day) and ride a bit further on Sundays (when the weather isn't too bad). I haven't done any long trip on it yet, but it will be done someday.
  10. I was finally able to finish reading the trip report!! Great report @Pedro!! It seems that you and @Sofia had a blast.
  11. Hi guys! I'm Dany (aka JustaPor) and haven't been active in a forum for more than a decade I found this place thanks to @Pedro when he shared the link of his Morocco trip report. I bought a brand new 2022 CB500F (picture attached) last November. I'm currently waiting on @Pedro and @Sofia's latest ride report!
