I agree, the BOTY should be selected from all the winners of BOTM. I understand that it's tedious to do 2 challenges in one month, so you could skip the BOTM of December (almost nobody takes pictures of their Bikes in December anyway) and make the BOTY with the 11 previous winners. I think that in @Pedro's point of view BOTY means that you can participate with a picture taken any day of the current year, not being limited to a specific month. This might avoid to have the same picture presented twice in the front page of the forum. I don't agree with it, but it's his show. This kind of contest is usually made to have some interactions with the members and give them an incentive to go out, enjoy a ride and share the moment. But some strict rules (i.e. "bike you currently own" ) sometimes get boring and people lose interest in participating. Just my 2 cents.

That didn't stop it to win the BOTM a couple of months ago.

Kilométrage is the word in french. Since there are so many words in french that written the same way that in english and mean the same, I think that it's a valid word

The sound of the gopro has always been crap, too much wind noise and not enough sound from the engine/exhaust. I've decided to record the sound using my phone and merge the image and sound afterwards. This is the result of the trip to work on a foggy morning and the trip back home...

It was nice while I was out, it's cloudy now. Rain should not take long to fall.

The bike is 2 years old today. Haven't reached 10k km yet. Didn't ride as much as last year, I avoided the cold winter days, but I'm still happy with it. Since I took the day off, I went for a ride to a place well known by @Pedro and @Sofia. (the 3.7L are not the average consumption, that's what it drank over +/- 125km)

I don't care about the pictures, but to be fair the forum's name is Motorcycle Riders. If any of you has still a doubt about the definition of the word Motorcycle... According to the Cambridge Dictionary : - Motorcycle is "a vehicle with two wheels and an engine" - Moped is "a small motorcycle with pedals (= parts that you press with your feet to move forward) that can be used when starting it or travelling up a hill" - E-Bike is "a bicycle with an electric motor that helps to move the bicycle forward even when the rider is not turning the pedals, also often used to refer to any bicycle with an electric motor, including those where you must turn the pedals" Just my 2 cents.
