Gold Star Actually I was quite impressed when I saw it in the Flesh.

So banished from my Puter today. Don’t mind really but I do need to tidy my desk.

Spent the day with the Mrs watching rubbish telly. Even missed the rugby but sometimes it’s just good to spend some time together. Pissing down here to. Eldest daughter away at college, youngest playing online all day and the boy has turned nocturnal so almost like have no kids for the first time in 15 years. Change is as good as a rest sometimes.

I not a big fan of his but I do like the Motorcycle show he is on. I agree with him being a very nervous egotistical sort of a guy, all that nonsense with his hair at the beginning almost had me tuning out. Was interesting to know a bit more about him, still not a fan but have a bit more understanding about him now. I do like Jellybean who he clearly loves. Not sure I would read his book, I couldn’t make it through Joe Marlers and I do like him.

I like the look of it, but I may be biased as it is an obvious copy of the Himalayan styling. Apart from the alloy wheels I don't see much wrong with it. Bit spendy maybe but looks practical enough. I don't have a downer on the chinese motorcycle industry it is growing and improving and will catch up. A lot of really good tech in other fields comes from China, there is no reason to doubt their motorcycles will get there. If you are honest you will admit the Japanese Motorcycle industry has produced its share of lemons in the past, as have all nationalities. Doesn't stop many aspiring to their latest greatest offerings.

I still think he is a bit of a Tit but interesting to know a bit more about him.

I have a the weekend off for once, just gonna chill out and watch some rugby. I was going to walk the dog today but got to take the Mrs for an X-Ray this morning and it is going to piss down this afternoon so that may be on hold. See how tomorrow goes. I want to go to Plymouth to have a look around a Triumph dealer recommended by my Uncle, who is the same age as me and has a Triumph. Not going to buy anything just want a good look around, but may not go if it is wet, Plymouth is a ball ache at the best of times let alone when it is pissing down. Bike needs a good clean so may do that between the showers.

Quite possibly they have had all sorts of masted things there over the years. My claim to fame was 30 plus years ago I was walking my dogs (two mental Jack Russells) along the cliff path down to Little Combe Beach, as I got on the beach there was a whole film crewe actors and all shooting a scene facing out to the bay with a twin masted sloop sailing by in the background. at this point my Terriorists decided to attack the sound man and his boom. Of course they had to abandon the shot and I heard one of the crewe on the radio to send the sloop around again. Not as easy as it sounds with a sailing vessel. They were not happy with me at all, but I was younger, hungover and not feeling that friendly so told them to fook off and walked on. Twas embarrassing though.

I have been in several choirs over the years, hot bed of squabbling and fall out, more so in mixed choirs. I have zero tolerance for that sort of thing so don't hang around if I get grief, I am quite prone to a flounce . The posher the choir the worst in my experience. I have been a member of Mevagissey Male Choir for the longest and still am. I am a soloist with them as well as one of the stronger basses. I have been in several groups that have broken up for various reasons, not always bitching. Its a fantastic hobby and very good for your mental health. I have been many places on tour. I just love singing and always will but don't worry I wont bother any of you with it

It is clever stuff, I like how he just visualizes things then creates them as if it was the easiest thing in the world. I was impressed with the Millyard Flyer created from two cylinders from a radial aircraft engine. I also was so impressed with how he created the joined conrods in the Kawasaki V12.

When I was younger I sang with the Plymouth Philharmonic Chorus for a season. That season they were presenting Carmina Burana, I remember those practices fondly, they were a 160 strong choir and to be amongst that on full song was something very special. I only lasted one season as I didn't really fit in with the social side of things. I wasn't really posh enough, loving the music was not enough to be accepted in those circles, which was a pity, hellofva choir though.

I told my Mrs I am going to pop up the garage and put some fuel in my bike. The garage is only a mile away and I thought I might as well warm the bike up properly it would be a shame to get condensation in the oil. So I ended up travelling to Tywardreath then on to Par, Carlton Bay, Pentewan, Tregorrick and then stopping in Charlestown. Quite a pleasant morning given that it is going to piss down later. I have always loved Charlestown it is a stunning little harbour that was still a busy clay Port in my youth. Not so now but they do quite often use it to make films. Some episodes of Poldark were filmed there and many films and things over the years. The rest of the time it is holiday let’s and dining out opportunities. Destroyed what was an old established community. But to elaborate on that would be to political and I don’t really want to rant on here. Anyway look at the Priddy stuff. Oh and when I went home I had forgotten to buy fuel.

Sitting here with the best breath in the world coffee and Parma Violets. Obviously not but coffee and my sugary friends do get you through the night. My family hate them so I am wondering what the hive brain here think of them. Parma Violets? Yay Or. Nay (Gay). Sorry It’s been a slow quiet night which is a novelty but boring. I will be going to bed soon.
