  1. Funnily enough I bought some hands guards from AliExpress as well for exactly that reason.
  2. There is a whole section on Wish for a CB500X. Don't look
  3. Thank you for that Caroline, I will being going back. Not sure I will get an appointment today although I have tried, but as I work for 111 I will probably be able to get an appointment with one of our GP's tonight. While not perfect it is a choice to talk to someone. I know the Colchicine makes me feel rough and I have since checked and it reacts badly with another med I am on, so now I know this I will be on it. Thank you again. Edit: Further update, Dr got back to me and I am going in at 3.30pm for an ECG, blood pressure check and to discuss my meds. Had a few more things worrying me as well as the gout so it is time to get it sorted.
  4. I know mate I am in a FB group for Himalayans so will clean it up and get it on there. Hopefully get a couple of hundred back for all the bits I got.
  5. Well de farkled the Himalayan to go back today. I can say that the Hugger was pretty ineffective at keeping the bike arse end end clean.
  6. Yep, also a collection of portraits of his mistress. The worst one was of his parents naked and disemboweled. There was a dark side to him for sure. On the tour you go through 3 rooms he decorated psychedelicly in the 1960's, they are pretty trippy and to be honest I thought more vandalism than decoration.
  7. I am not on allopurinol at the moment, I just get prescribed Colchicine when I have a bout of gout . I think it is probably time I go and have a chat with my Dr about allopurinol again, the last time we talked about it he thought that I wasn't getting the gout regularly enough to warrant it. Not feeling that great in general so going to make the time to go and see him. Thanks for the reply
  8. Have you ever done the guided tour at Longleat to see his art collection? Once seen never forgotten, especially the painting of his parents.
  9. I very rarely drink Fred, so it's not that, I have been getting it roughly twice a year for the last 20 years or so. Seems to be getting it more often now, suppose it is an age thing .
  10. Yes mate it's pretty debilitating, can hobble around and work on pain killers but not walk any distance.
  11. After 10 days of being grounded by gout I got out and about with the Dear Boy this morning. 7.5k to the Gribbin Day Mark and back. Just stunning weather perfect for walking. One shot is looking across the river mouth to the little village of Polruan. I ran one of the pubs there for a short time and got to know the community well. A great and atmospheric place.
  12. My clinician is running an out of hours clinic tonight. Had several in, including three kids at different times, A Braxton, a Jaxxson and a Tigger. WTF is wrong with their parents those poor kids are going to have to live with those names until they are old enough to change them. Perhaps its me with the 1 am grumps but I do wonder about people.

What a shame a bit more composure and Italy could have won that. France didn't respect Italy and it nearly cost them. Great game if a little frustrating result. It does show Italy deserve their place in the 6 nations

I am a bit of a naus and would watch a two tier six nations with relegation and promotion. Plenty of nations to fill a second tier of six. Problem is that all of the countries in the tournament as it stands have equal ownership of it. They would never agree to relegation.

    OOH 21-22. Its on

I agree with the sentiment and Italy are a good side it’s just that everyone else in the six nations has improved at a greater pace. I don’t like the talk of dropping Italy out of the six nations in favour of South Africa. They couldn’t legally anyway but Italy are head and shoulders above any other European nation and deserve their place.

Yep, by quite a margin. Fair play to Italy not rolling over at all. Mind you I have missed two tries already.
  21. Sounds like it, I had a RD400D with Speeds and Reeds plus Stan Stevens tuned barrels. 12 to 20mpg with a pretty. narrow power band. Used to get hot too but went like a stabbed rat. Ruined the bike really, very difficult to ride as I remember.
  22. In all honesty I would prefer Allspeeds to Microns. On an Air Cooled RD400F.
