  1. Used to be like that, when you were wasting away on some other forum.
  2. Make the most of it, take pictures to watch while you're sitting by the fire in two months.
  3. Sorry dude, wheel it out of the garage next time, and there's other factors...
  4. I was torn between Six's and Sofia's, setting is important but at the end my vote went for Sofia. A fast bike traveling, and in the Mountain, gets my vote this month.
  5. After a surprising flood of amazing pictures from adventurers worldwide, we are here to celebrate motorcycling in ... well, to pick a picture for the banner during September. Choose and vote in one from the below, voting will end on Monday at 21:00: @boboneleg's Suzuki DR650, on green lush fields @Buckster's low and long, stylish Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide: @Marcel's sleek Indian Challenger, enjoying the end of a Canadian afternoon: @MooN's red Triumph Tiger 800 XC, arguably Europe's prettiest Tiger, exploring romantic previously war torn France: @Pedro's BMW R1200GSA resting amongst New Forrest's horses: @Saul's specced up Honda CB500F, having a break from challenging England's toughest conditions: @Six30's ultra shiny and fast BMW S1000R, next to a set of MiniCooper wheels and a Simoncelli picture: @Skippy's revvy and eager Yamaha FZ6N, in a lost Andalusian village: @Sofia's trusty Triumph Speed Triple R, resting on the legendary IOM Mountain Course: @XTreme's ultra reliable, clean Honda CB500X, resting under the shade of Andalusian forrests: Let's make BOTM great again...
  6. You’ll see, next month there will be a huge volume of great pictures of motorcycles in scenic locations under big skies. Even the lord is giving us the weather. I got inside knowledge from a source that even @Slowlycatchymonkey will take a picture. It’ll make AdvRider pale with shame.
  7. I can’t hold my enthusiasm with expectations about what great pictures are going to be submitted in the next few hours!
  8. Lovely landscapes and views, they are landscapes to me, to Pol Tarrés they are a playground. The dude must save a lot on money on front tires too. The voice over is a bit cheesy, but the way he handles that Tenere makes up for it. The bit at 4:19 ...
  9. My brother had one as a company car in Poland, it was a tdi with 4wd, very nice to drive around in snow and all around the kind of car that grows on you and you then miss it. It drove all the way to Portugal and back to Warsaw for Christmas.
  10. Gave the bike a wash, then another one, then another one. It's looking oldish now, the mix of british wet roads and spanish motorway bugs was disgusting. Then washed the luggage, and the jacket is in the washer. A friend of Sofia gave us a little bit of a spice mix they use in Jordan, and now my rain overalls smell very exotic! Where is the "Pete washing machine" smilie when you need it?
  11. Pedro

    Walking boots.

Swimming might be a bit too much cardio for someone who isn't used to it, too, you'll be finished in 5 minutes. Looking forward to the walk/cycle reports
  12. You think someone around here is squealing that you had it tuned?
  13. Still hoping for an enhanced sunset to bring this back to the golden days before all this negativity arrived.
  14. Stop asking questions and just go take one of your 15 bikes out for a tide and take a picture. 1 picture!
  15. Gives him a chance to go out by himself and see the views… I mean the menus, on restaurants…
  16. He’s got the door open. If I do that the black parts of my bike get dusty! I love a clean bike, just hate washing them.
  17. Class! And that’s a proper clean bike!
  18. Tomorrow's the weekend, and it's sunny...
  19. 26 pounds is 11kg. My 2015 R1200GS Adventure is supposed to be 260kg with fuel, a 2021 R1250GS Adventure is supposed to be 268kg with fuel, so basically they added 8kg with adding clever valve wizardry. They now go through all that effort and revolution to drop 11kg, and that includes a lithium battery that by itself saves a good 2 or 3kg? In effect their revolution makes the ultra light new bike similar in weight to my bike, and ditching a steel rear frame for a pressed sheet one? I see a revolution in profit margins, that what I see
  20. I'll be washing the bike, and maybe going over to Porto and give Emerson Fitipaldi a hand shake, because that's how I roll.
  21. It still has to be an horizontal picture, though. Do you find those mirrors cumbersome passing cars in traffic? Sofia hates hers.
  22. @Six30, you´re welcome to join in, with a picture from September Maybe try and win it, just to mess with the tantrum boy.
  23. She was lucky, it's dog poo...
