  1. I just couldn’t go back to hibernating. Honestly mate, I feel your pain.
  2. Last weekend at a scooter rally
  3. No mate that was me with the lid and jacket and the sun has fucked it up so rather than a manly blue it’s now a poofy purple. Good excuse to buy a new jacket I’d say, I’ll explain to my missus that you took the piss out of it and said I looked effeminate in it. As for the tripod………yep, that was good old Pete. Bloody shame, taken too early. I miss the old twat.
  4. Another scooter day today, brekkie, tapas and 200 klms of twisty tarmac.
  5. Not bad is it! This is Vélez Blanco so a little inland from my place but lovely nonetheless. The day started well too!
  6. Out on the scoot again…….its stupidly addictive.
  7. Tough times eh? Hope you can get through it okay.
  8. Motorbikes are so last week………scooter yobbery is the way forward.
  9. I can only hope, at least it’ll be some kind of action
  10. Spent a few hours today, taking the variator apart and inspecting all the bits and bobs and nothing is worn out or seized. Also inspected the brake calipers and they seem fine too, however closer inspection of the rear disc shows that it is ever so slightly warped. I think that may be the root cause of the problem.
  11. I might take it up to where he used to live and ride around a bit just to fuck the old codger off.
  12. Sounds like a plan mate.
  13. Just over 28,000 klms so not much but no history unfortunately……..it’s Spain, that’s normal.
  14. That’s a perfect description
  15. The rear brake works really well, I was surprised to be honest. There none of the judder you get from a warped disc……..had one on a GSX1400 and it was awful
  16. Yes it makes the noise when it’s not running but it’s not constant. I put a bit of tape on the wheel at the point the noise happens and it takes exactly one revolution to make the noise again. The consensus on the forum is that it’s the brake calliper so I’ll get it down to my mates place tomorrow and we’ll investigate.
  17. Yes mate it’s belt drive and apart from the first few feet as you pull away it’s absolutely fine. It accelerates properly and the rear brake pulls you up very well.
  18. So here’s one for you @Clive, got a rather unpleasant grinding noise when I pull away or push it around the garage. Everyone on the forum says it’s the brake caliper but what do you say?
  19. Are you in Wetherspoons then?
  20. That’s a logical assumption I guess……… @Bucksterwhat d’ya think?
  21. My old neighbour had one and he liked it, although he complained it was too fast. Fucking faggot………..ooooh does that get me a ban?
  22. I think you’re scared to try it in case you like it.
