    Too many teeth.
  2. So it took the wife three hours? She probably could have done it in 30 minutes without your help.
  3. There is going to be some serious trailer action over the next few months.
  4. Well the headers are ordered, there will of course be an epic write up of the fitting in the tech section.
  5. Why are you in this section? This section is for people who ride motorcycles not for those that take their motorcycles on holiday in a van.
  6. As much as I like the sound of my exhaust, it is a bit of a pain for touring, especially with the trailer as sound is reflected back at me. I certainly cannot risk going abroad with the bike with the current set up. I also know I am sacrificing torque for horsepower. Unfortunately I cannot just switch silencers as the headers are two inch on the Rinehart system currently on the bike as opposed to one and three quarter inch as per standard. So I am ordering a set of S&S Power Tune dual headers and for now will use some standard silencers I have in my storage unit, it’s going to be very quiet, which the neighbours will no doubt like, I will gain a little bit of torque and lose a little bit of horsepower. Later on I will fit some after market silencers when I find ones I like. The added bonus is that the left hand header will be away from the passenger foot peg which is currently a challenge for the occasional lady pillion passenger.
  7. Well good for you, I hope you stick with it, it will be interesting to see how you are in six months time and I’m not trying to wind you up here.
  8. You actually gave up the Mary Jane?
  9. You are on the baggie again. No trips for you, just tripping out.
  10. That chain looks a bit loose.
  11. Here you go @Marcel, got you a rally t-shirt.
  12. Gay, in Scotland hailstones are as big as footballs, we just shrug them off.
  13. It’s not exactly what I said, although I appreciate that is how your ginger brain interpreted it.
  14. Oxidisation of the battery terminals being affected by heat and humidity, pull the terminals, clean the connectors and battery posts with light emery paper, use some dielectric grease and refit.
  15. You will never get rid of the smell.
