@Sofia.......do have a photo of Pedro taken from a distance? Reason being that we need to have their heads about the same size! Won't be possible with the legs obviously.

If I logged in there (providing my account hasn't been locked) I could show you the PM's! I'd helped him out with stuff before that over the years anyway. I even knew him for a few years before I joined in 2013......so we went way back. Never imagined things would turn out the way they did.......doubt you saw it coming either. Cos, unusually for you, you hadn't even done anything that time! Still, all's well that ends well! Worked out just fine in the end AFAIC. His mileage may vary of course!

The guy asked for my help......so I helped him! As I tend to do when people come to me in situations like that. A month or so later I was surplus to requirements. What can we learn from this?

After all, he now has a camera and this year he's facing very stiff opposition! MOTY is always more difficult because it ain't easy to think of anybody who's actually contributed anything of value on here! And of course, the previous holder flounced......in fact I'm sure he flounced when he won TOTY about 15 years ago as well. And you never know, we may end up with our first ever WOTY! I remember back 50 years ago when I was learning to ride on my Vespa, and my enthusiasm outweighed my ability and experience! So I kept binning it. And my worry was that I'd still be doing that 50 years later! You know....like I'd still be completely inept and not know WTF I was doing. But now I don't have to worry.......cos you're doing it for me Dave!
