Ukraine war: Fears Russian aggression could spill into Poland

If they don't fight him in Ukraine they're going to be fighting him somewhere else.

You may remember a few days ago I posted a great analysis by a Finnish military logistics guy regarding the 40 mile Russian convoy that's stuck. He's posted an update now and he breaks everything right down. It is day 19 of Ukraine War. On Day 1, a mysterious convoy of 40 miles (64km) became stuck on the shortest road from Belarus to Kyiv. & while an obvious target for ambush, Ukraine did not destroy this convoy. He wants to take control of the country and all it's assets......so leaving as much intact as possible is in his interests. Same goes for Poland and the other former Soviet satellite countries. If he does go nuclear then the US, and to a lesser extent the UK, will be his targets.

Just taking to my boy in Poland......some of the people he knows in work are starting to make plans for what they're going to do if it kicks off. It seems that heading for Germany is what most of them are thinking. Just seen reports that US military are loading a huge number of vehicles tonight in Rzeszow, Poland......which is around 60 miles from Ukraine border.

If one missile goes over that border then it's going to kick off!

If shit hits the fan her old man said he'll start driving them out of the place. But whether that happens remains to be seen. If they can get the youngest one's passport through soon then they can get on a plane in Krakow and be here in Spain in two and a half hours. But what's going to happen over there during that period is the concern.

Biggest run I've ever done......and in the worst condition I've ever been in Lionel. But I'll get it done if needs be!

He won't be going anywhere Bob.....he always comes out with that stuff but never does anything. Doesn't even fire the van up. And anyway, he'll never get through the 20 mile queue at the ports.......but you know, will of the people and all that.

Just been doing a bit of research into the journey I'd have to make if the shit hits the fan! It's about 2000 miles each way.........and I'd aim to do a 1000 miles a day. I may not be able to do that sort of schedule these days as I ain't getting any younger, but that'll be my target. If it looks like it'll go to 3 days (based on my progress on the first day).......then I'll look at a stop in a service area in Lyon, and on the second day in Prague! Now before you ask why don't they take a flight?......I'll repeat that despite the fact that the youngest grandson was two last week, they never bothered to get him a passport. They've applied now but it could be weeks before they receive it. And also, depending on the situation there, just bear in mind that the Russians have form for shooting commercial aircraft down. I know it's a bit of a stretch......but you can't discard that possibility.
