I have an update! We followed @Slowlycatchymonkey's advice to make a stencil to ensure the indentations in the box were in the right place. And they were! So the wife got drilling! I supervised! Then it was attach the pad and tighten the screws! I passed the screwdriver! And job done! The bike's coming together now......box, handguards, and decent tyres (Pirelli Scorpion Trail II). @Tango knows how shit the OEM's are, the bike just doesn't steer right with those Dunlop Trailmax shit! If I didn't have my Hernia I'd probably be doing some RTW trip!

My old girl forced me to take a liquid iron supplement as a kid! It tasted disgusting and made me heave but it was forced down my throat! By the time I'd got in my teens it had rotted a lot of my teeth so they were extracted. Back in those days they extracted teeth brutally for any reason.....the dentists then were mainly ex-Forces WWII types. And after each one was extracted I was bollocked for not looking after my teeth.

I'd lost most of my back teeth before I was 21......I've been squashing my food for years!

Yeh.....no chewing involved which is how I prefer it!

I'm partial to the Fray Bentos ones too.....always nice and squashy!
