definitely.......They will give the usual speech..."we are off to Tenerife for 10 days soon...Thailand in May for 2 weeks.....Australia for 1 month in September.....back to Tenerife for Christmas & New Year".......envious, me?....a bit, only of the Tenerife hol, I could not tolerate the Australia & Thailand flight... oh well, 8 weeks and we are away for along weekend. ☺

My (occasional) riding buddy has been there, and on a Ypres tour too, he likes all thing WW1 & 2, I remember him saying he was there for 3 days, but didn't get to do and see all that he wanted too....he is hoping to do the trip again this year.. My wife always wanted to visit St. Malo, she is disappointed that it never happened.

Paint..... BBQ or other high temp paint is cheaper than buying a new exhaust, that will rust and rot as fast as the original one did.

I only ever owned 2 stroke Suzuki,s....that was in the 70,s But I do like the look of the SV....it (like other Suzuki models is long in the tooth) is just the right size for a geriatric like me.

IF I had the money I would have it, I once said i would never have another Suzuki, but I would make a exception in this case..

I have painted mine twice, it may only be a single cylinder, but the price of a new exhaust (which is almost unattainable with there being no Daelim importer) is very steep. Not bad here today, cloudy, dry and no breeze.......but weatherman says snow (maybe a good covering) next Wednesday.. Iam going to the local bike shop now, just looking, it passes a hour or so.

Get some BBQ paint on the scoots exhaust, they are renowned for rusting.

Decisions..Decisions......so much I could do this weekend, but I expect I will end up doing absolutely bugger all as usual.

I would not like to be 40 and looking for work in today's employment climate, I am thick so no company would set me on anyway. The days of large employers (in our town) are long gone, the company I worked for ended up being one of, if not, the largest employer in town, now years ago they were just a middling company. So there is not so much job security nowdays, hire and fire at will. As said. Good luck with your search.

I do not read bike reviews, not much point, unless I was thinking of purchasing that particular bike. I do watch motorcycle repair and restoration vids.......don't know why, because I ain't doing that again.
