A Jack Russell ...........a small breed with a big attitude...........is it's name Marcel?

Weather forecast for tomorrow is shite 🌩.... it may be a early return to base.... we will see how it pans out.. B&B is supposedly full, but only 4 people down at the bar ,B&B must be full of old fuckers who are already in their pits. ...oh well another San Miguel for me bartender..
-
Here at Costa del Mablethorpe.......it like the Costa del Sol In February.
-
Car checked over for tomorrow's epic journey oil, water and tyre pressures checked, and it has a tank full of E10... Weather forecast is still reasonable too as long as it is dry there it will be OK for us.

Happy birthday for 2 weeks time..

Fabulous!... I really like a good thunderstorm, but they nearly always miss this area around us... Dry, sunny and about 22c here, sat in the garden having a cuppa......waiting for the biscuit bandits to arrive....

I honestly do not know if his or if my insurance covered the damage repairs, more than likely it was mine, because my renewal quote went up £100+.

I nearly fell foul to the Ivan incident, I saw him hit my car, I got to his car before he drove off, cos I had feeling he was going too. Looked at my door and said I need your insurance details To which Ivan said, i not want to do insurance.. You take to garage, they repair...give me bill, I pay. Nope, it's going through insurance, he reluctantly gave me his details. It was about 4 weeks from the start of the accident to getting my car back. New door was needed. I went to my daughters house just after I got the car back, and guess what?.....Ivan had buggered off back to Poland about 2 weeks earlier!.. Glad I did it through the insurance...or I would have been stuffed with the repair bill.
-
My insurance did rocket up the year before last when Ivan the Pole reversed into my parked car and stoved in the drivers side door, maybe that showed up somewhere on the insurance database.
-
Maybe because I have reached 71yo My daughter lives 200 yards from us, she is 40 yo has had 1 accident in the past, drives a 1600cc car, and her insurance is bit cheaper than mine. I did ask why my insurance is high, they just said..your age...or postcode that could flag up insurance problems too, was a bit vague. I have looked on the Meerkat site (other providers are available ) and the prices are the same.... I have other things to consider (car rear axle) that will require funds, so I will stick with the scoot, only costs me about £150 per year..
-
That was the cheapest, and it was with some insurance company that I have never heard of, i am with Swinton (£75 for the scoot) who funnily were not on the list of quoting companies.
-
Being silly I know, so I did a online insurance quote.....£275!!, i will definitely give it a miss.
-
Her purse has a big fuck off padlock on it.

It needs a bit of work, headstock bearing, and a blow on one header pipe, simple enough to fix, and not too much expense. If (I can't ) got it I would use it, not very often I know (I don't get out much ) but not to sell on. I had GPZ500 in the past, a decent enough bike, just the damn thing liked to corrode & and rust quickly...

A nice start to the day here , weatherman says rain later, which should make the bike 🏍 racing at Donington interesting...
-
Mine is fast enough (for this old fart ) when out and about, it not particularly quick off the mark, maybe it would be a bit quicker if I weighed a bit less.
-
I just think 25bhp from a 330 is a bit low, mine is 250cc and has the same power, but mine is a twin cam.
-
Weather forecast looks quite reasonable for next week, so we are off to (you guessed it ) Mablethorpe from Monday till Thursday.... and in a B&B!..... we will be living the high life. not living like Pikeys in a caravan.
-
When you say "it's pretty quick" ........do you mean the GTS or the Lambretta?
-
I just stick £20 or £30 worth of petrol in the Dacia, it has a small ish tank so that takes it up to 3 quarters (or thereabouts) full, + i get good mpg with it being a small 1200cc engine. I expect the government will raise the price of petrol at the next budget.......Bastids.

It is not very powerful for 330cc......
