For the sake of fuck!!!!........the washer drain pipe ain't fucking long enough. A visit to Screwfix next week.

Scrap yard is nearer..........council recycling centre about 2 miles further away........but its always very busy with the resulting long queues....so i would rather take in to scrap yard and get nothing for it and no queuing.

Now there is a thought......Next door neighbour has one of those dustbins that you burn garden crap in...... We have one scrap yard in town.......could take it there after the Christmas/New year's closedown.

On his past efforts there is no telling where the washer would end up ....and it would not be level.

If! I feel a bit better tomorrow my Christmas day morning will involve fitting our new washer in its alloted space in our kitchen.... It's going to take more effort to get rid of all the packaging.......shitloads of polystyrene and shrink wrap.

Feeling marginally better today.....after a very disturbed night. It seems I have passed the lurgy onto my daughter. I told her to keep away......kids!...they never listen.

Yep the best part of me went down the pan...

A little.........but some good news...had my 1st dump since last Sunday......headache has gone.

New washing machine has been delivered............just needs the water and drainage pipes connecting.......I doubt I will do that for a while yet. Still feel shit and about as strong as a junior asprin.

One is older...72..his partner she is 65..

I know a couple of people who say the same thing.

Headache gone.....but throat, and chest feels the same.........cough definitely no better. Hope that there will be some improvement tomorrow.. Fucked up the few Christmas plans we had....

Any idea where he is?
