Oh yes, riding in a shitty ill fitting Kangol helmet, ex MOD army gear for bike riding, about as waterproof as tissue paper. Early 70,s I had the Lambretta then, no females willing to ride on that pile of crap as there was no guarantee that it would get us to the next village without something falling off or breaking. I was with the 1st wife in the middle 70,s she tolerated the bike, hardly ever had her tits in my back as they were usually in my brothers hands. Present wife was my pillion in the late 70,s when she was a slender thing, she was happy to ride pillion as we were together and sometimes riding to a destination, bike gear was still crap though, had some good times, but also been wet from head to toe and miserable too.

I use this place quite often, his prices make the bike shops around here seem like thieves.

Took car back to the garage, they found the problem, exhaust heat shield catching on the undertray, I no longer have Cozy Powell doing a drum solo when I drive over rough roads.

I know how it's pronounced but I get a feeling it will be a "Gotcha" moment if I post it.

Put 2 new bolts in the cover under the engine, and still it makes a drumming sound over tough road surfaces. Wiper motor motor! Had to use a small puller to get the wiper arms off of the spindles.

I have to grease the window wiper motor and linkages...a common problem on the Dacia. And get underneath the car and see if they have put the cover under the engine on correctly, something is making a noise over rough road surfaces.

Certainly is...a laugh a minute here.

The oil & filter change around £80.....bushes no idea of the cost of them , or how many are on the anti roll bar, will see how much of that bill is labour charge when I collect the car.

Bought a new 50 inch smart tv yesterday..........assembled it up this morning ......still can't get onto any TV channels...... beginning to wish that I had not bothered..
