Looked at the car for MOT on Monday ..........discs look a bit doubtful for a pass, but I can replace them myself.........but got a hole in 1 sill, only the size of a 1p peice, so i expect a fail on that too, as to the underside of the car I cannot get underneath to see the condition of the parts. If its going to cost ££££££,s I will have to raid our funeral fund.

Was a nice drive all the way to Ipswich, from there to Harwich it pissed it down. Still is..

We have a very busy thunderstorm right over us now, hammering it down with rain. Maybe going in the car tomorrow is a good idea. German pal wants to drive to Walton on the Naze, after driving to Harwich (190 miles) I could do without it.

Dry and bright here, we did have heavy shower earlier. Checking fluids and tyre pressures on car and scoot. Think it will be a toss of a coin tomorrow morning as to which one.

Decisions Decisions...what form of transport for the Harwich trip tomorrow Weather forecast looks a bit dodgy.

When my wife was in a wheelchair, assistance at the airport, both East Midlands (not so good) and Palma were brilliant......did it a couple of times. Only downside was security at East Midlands wanted to almost disassemble the wheelchair, Palma totally different, I think it was a case of, we have got your holiday money now bugger off to England.

Gundolf does a good impression of Uncle Fester

1st time he came here to the UK my sis in law kept telling the brother in law that his name is Gundolf not Gandalf, she drummed it into him, Gundolf, Gundolf Gundolf. And when she met him she said "Hello Gandalf, nice to meet you"....brother in law pissed himself laughing.

He may be eating alone, as the forecast for Sunday is not good, I ain't walking around Harwich in the pissing down rain.
