  1. I think he was on notice too, I had deleted my old FB account and created a new one but haven't had a response to a friend request I sent him, looking at his profile it doesn't appear promising.
  2. R.I.P. Pete Condolences to the family and friends Pete, I hope this gives you a laugh wherever you are.... You always called me "mad" and recently it was confirmed in a diagnosis LOL, yes Pete, it's official. I'll think of you whenever I ride my scoot (that's almost daily now) and feel the wind on my vagina :), (that's an in joke, "men buy scooters so they can feel the wind on their vaginas") Can we get together and have a "wake" in Wales for Pete ya reckon?
  3. Definitely, you need infinite patience, I had one running for years with hundreds of users, got too much in the end, the bickering and back stabbing so I pulled the plug, not before I handed it over to someone else who not too long after wanted to hand it back LOL. Pete's forums always catered for a very small niche of asshats but loyal asshats who stuck around. Technically they're not hard at all
  4. The urn needs to be changed to a new "best one I've ever had" every six months
  5. Oh shit, just seen this, sucks
  6. Front wheel stepped out on me, going wide around the traffic exiting a roundabout, got onto the gravel in the centre, front wheel went and sent me into the path of the oncoming cars, it was a fun moment that nearly kills you but makes you smile
  7. And can only do half as much LOL
  8. You forgot to add "darlings" on the end of that you raving queen
  9. That's the Arena Swansea and the new footbridge that replaced the old one, looks fekin shite, people call it the "Toblerone Bridge" https://maps.app.goo.gl/BYJWisgasKgpqyUQ7
  10. I'd guess you'd be surprised, it's still mostly a shite hole though
  11. The tasteful artwork on the fourth plinth, Trafalgar Square of Baptist preacher John Chilembwe and European missionary John Chorley is being replaced with this progressive piece of shitecrapgarbage
  12. Easy it's the dick who posted it
  13. Yes and I bet you've also asked why the cows in the field are so small
  14. Yes, I discovered that trains are actually fake. I know this as I was out walking and came across some old disused train track, when I looked down the tracks they clearly were much smaller further way and far too close together for a train to run on, clearly proving that trains cannot really exists and run on tracks.
  15. Having said all that, the only think you can know for sure is that you exist "I think therefore I am" as any and all sensory perceptions are just thoughts
  16. Fuck me, how dumb can people be? This in fact proves that either the Sun is tiny and close to us or massive and a long way away, if the Sun is massive and close to us the Sun rays would be closer to being parallel, if it was smaller and close to use the rays would fan out (but then you'd struggle to feel any warmth from a small Sun and it would not illuminate virtually 50% of the Earth at any one point in time), so that leaves huge and far from us give a similar appearance of size but much more powerful, illuminating nearly half the planet and having rays that spread out due to the angle of penetration of the rays of light
  17. Oh and forget his claptrap about the Sun moving through the Universe, it's literally not relevant. the stars you see in the sky are in our own Galaxy, the Galaxy moves relative to the Earth or rather the Earth moves with the Galaxy and all it's stars, the Earth does not move through the Galaxy at any astronomica significant spped, it orbits the centre of the galaxy at 230km per second but then the entire galaxy is rotating with it DUH!. so yes everything appears static although over decades slight movements can be detected. Things far away appear to be motionless but the fact is they are moving at incredible speeds, it's another failing of flat Earthers (Flerfs) to underestimate the size of our Solar system let alone the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond, just a tiny snippet to give some kind of persepctive... If you jumped on your bike and rode to Jupiter non stop at 60mph, how long would it take you to get there, no break/stop/sleeping? 700 years is the answer and our system isn't even a spec of dust compared to the Galaxy we're in, if our Sun was the size of a ping pong ball the next nearest star to it (Proxima Centuri) would be 680 miles away
  18. Fucking idiot, Polaris isn't fixed, even polar scopes of fairly recent manufacture have to be taken with a pinch of salt when using the built in marks for where to place Polaris to gain accurate polar alignment with the Earth's axis of rotation Here's an example of Losmandy brand polarscope reticule, you can see the markings (near where it say's UMi (Polaris), that is where Polaris has to be placed and it changes, it is now out of the markins so alignment can be too far off for accurate tracking of more than 30 sec with a 1000mm telescope, it why we use plate solving to give absolute accuracy for better tracking (plate solving is uploading and image to servers that identify precisely where your telescope is pointed by analysing the stars in the image) it takes two separate images to be plate solved by rotating the mount on it's RA (right ascension) axis the program then gives a visual as to which way to move the elevation and azimuth controls to get it spot on, taking more images each time and plate solving after each move. These fuckwits really ought to do their homework properly as the people who listen to them should.
  19. Ah, must have ridden right by it, looks like it's still there on Google Street View
  20. Fed up with chores and work and to do lists, fuckit, I'm off to Cenarth Waterfall, just 50 miles away but all tight twisties, well nearly Over Betws Mountain to start, fuck they've ruined that with these shithouse wind farms, was just a tiny bit chilly on my finger at 7-8c getting there, warmer days on the horizon now. No more stops til Cenarth, not much in the way of photogenic scenery and roads kept me occupied Pulled up right in front of the falls then spent some time trying to get nice pics, annoyingly I had left my ND filters at home, still I did what I could with what I had This one shows the old Flour Mill too (no not the Yamaha you wankers): Headed into the little bistro/gift shop before setting off, had a cup of tea and a couple of Welsh Cakes A brisk ride back home just over an hour away a balmy 11c all the way Lucky Pete didn't notice my scoot is covered in saw dust from my woodworking in the garage LOL All pics taken on my tiny little Sony RX100 V, a very capable camera
  21. The Tough One 2009 David Knight vs Taddy Blazusiak shoot it out at Nantmawr Quarry, Wales, those were the days and it gives some insight into what it's like trail riding on the terrain in Wales If you've got access to the Roku channel it's on there
  22. You should check your sources zzzak, always check the information you've been fed
