  1. Most people would consider a £2800 Rangemaster a decent appliance. Chefs all choose gas because it is quite simply better so you mate can feck right off!
  2. Got an induction hob in Spain, don’t mind it but gas is much better to cook on, more nuanced heat control. Well it would be if I could get the bloody thing plumbed in. Anyway have you seen the price of electricity, I’d be frightened to turn it on
  3. This oven thing is the gift that keeps on giving. I now have two ovens in the middle of the kitchen cos the hose that was connecting the gas has a big sticker on it saying “THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR LPG” Apparently a natural gas hose (which is what it’s been connected by for twenty years) will deteriorate and start leaking. Had a lucky escape there me thinks! And now the wiring diagram that is physically stuck on the back of the oven does not in anyway match the wiring thats actually there. And the poor sod who’s fitting it is in his 70’s and supposed to be on holiday right now but popped around to do install it as a quick favour Wonder how long I’m going to have to walk around this
  4. Holymoly @boboneleg bet that was scary. Not fun for Ersilia or you but a better outcome than a stroke.
  5. Most wise. But it's not a squabble it's Pete running from the truth about his bike boring him.... rahahahaa Or in reality creating click bait cos his footfalls not pleasing him today, consider yourself warned, no-one is safe
  6. I spent a week on a Honda CBR650 and thought it was lovely but pretty uninspiring. I didn’t get that connection you get with some machines. Horses for courses n all that. I’ve never ridden a Yamaha, think I probably should!
  7. The 9T’s no shed, the GSF 1250’s barely a shed, the Harley Livewire is definitely nowhere near a shed and the BSA is an unknown quantity. Could be worse I could be falling asleep riding a pipe n slippers Honda
  8. Well the flats nice it’s right next to the SS Great Britain so these are outside the door. That’s one serious sized anchor!
  9. Not seen that one. My boys mostly moved onto superhero films around the time of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Despicable Me - I liked that one! My least favourite was Wall-E!
  10. Did you watch the clip? You might enjoy it
  11. I’ve only seen a clip, looked entertaining.. https://www.facebook.com/reel/6104789776199943?fs=e&s=7MtrtK
  12. I quite enjoyed that film Flint Lockwoooood
  13. Your not really qualified to comment anyway Pete cos you think anything thats not your current bike is shit
  14. Got pre party food prep to do today on top of the usual work and picking up an oven and viewing a flat in Brizzle. Got a bastid headache too, that’s Henry Westons fault, annoying git making drinks that don’t taste alcoholic, then you suddenly notice (when it’s too late) its 8%
  15. I always really liked the 8 ball. Great lines. Shame they stopped production. The dealer told me it was because they couldn’t meet EU emission standards without doing a redesign and as they didn’t sell enough of them to make their money back on the amount of investment that would take Polaris decided to drop Victory and focus on Indian.
  16. For me n Mr Slowly the aurora can go fuck itself For my 40 birthday I was still (only partially) surrounded by materialistic wankers -what have you got her, how much is it (she) worth? I say sod material possessions thats aspirational crap I want to have experiences not things. So I plumped for the aurora.. some time later it didn't show it's face and delightfully some random twat spent their time coughing with their face uncovered in our direction... uhuh grim
  17. Aaw come on. The mans repeatedly posted pics that work against him in an oblivious fashion, in-spite of good backdrops, for at least over a year now. Set him free.. of top box, badly proportioned, terribly angled photos please.
  18. No wonder you never win, adjust your expectations The bike is the dominant feature and it’s a bike forum not a landscape photography one. It’s displayed at a beautiful angle (I’d ride that.. even tho its a honda ) . The background leads your eye visually to the front tyre which looms large in the pic and ready to go. Theres no dumb practical shite attached to it (dumb practical shit is a necessity as I’ve repeatedly photographed) but the naked bike with the raw background looks GOOD! Desolate surrounding and a mans machine is a winner.
  19. Just a bit of extra space with no thought is a boon. Refining your packing to essentials is a bore and chucking everything in without a care is liberating, thats just a guess cos honestly having that attached to the back of my bike would piss me off big styley.
  20. Oh and the White horse tat in the background, very cool.
