Today Mr Slowly kindly took the BSA to Clevedon to get heated grips fitted. He was surprised how good it is and now wants one but get this (and you lot will LOVE this) when he got it out of the garage there was oil on the floor The mechanic said I can tell you what that is… “it’s a BSA” Anyway another Fowlups triumph they hadn’t done the drain plug up properly, idiots.

Means I can finally put in behind me and concentrate on (hopefully) making enough money to pay for the hip and knee replacements nurses inevitably need earlier than the average joe I dunno why I’m laughing at that

They said it was finishing end of March last year then they changed it to not accepting new applications. Then they said it was finishing end of September but end of September at the last minute they said they had decided to extend it to some unknown date so when they recently announced it would finish 21st March I didn’t believe them. Tbh it’s pissed me off. The door closing on that part of my life was a happy one and for a while they relentlessly kept on about rejoining the permanent register. So it’s celebration time at last. Whoop whoop.

Yer I was applying to Yen, there's no postal strike at tho mo and he's not pretending he didn't get it so bar someone nicking his post it's two weeks. But yes I get your point. I had exactly the same thing and kept trying to figure out exactly how much time the strike would add to a letter before I was off the hook.

I also heard due to Brexit you can no longer legally receive a speeding fine from the EU and if you do you should ignore it....

Thanks Fred. I saw that it can fully charge a phone 6 times and thought hmm I can imagine two people chewing through most of that charge on a weekend away so a small one we'd probably use the lot and then discover theres no charge left for a jump start when it was time to leave
