Nope “Facebook is for old people” They use “insta” and favour snapchat, tiktok, reddit and discord. Facebook is what their parents use so it was never going to be their platform of choice, cos they can only post family approved activities on there.

Oh god its all gone tits up here! I was intending on booking the first ferry immediately after the mechanics been on the 15th Oct but now we have staff problems that require far far far far (I could just keep typing that word!) too much input and it may well stretch on past that date. Kinda sucks. I’m just trying to focus on the bit where itll be sorted at some point and I’m lucky that when it is I have a cool (probably quite cool by then ) ride to do to a little place in Spain

Brilliant stuff @yen_powell thankyou. I particularly liked that in the many photos in the Doris article theres a lot of smiles when smiling for a photo back then wasnt the predominant pose. Neutral expressions were common. Made it feel like she (and most her family) were/are genuinely smiley people which was a lovely thing to read about.
