Picked up my bike from oldgrump today. I was terrified of riding it over this massive windy, rainy hill and had visions of going round the block and back to his house with it. How wrong was i. It was an absolute dream come true and i cant thank him enough. What a legend. Not often you will ever see 2 of these together these days.

To be fair it didnt rain in Dawlish. We literally headed straight into it. We dont usually do that but Andy set his heart on seeing Newquay. We will go again one day.

Totally love this bike. I have to say i prefer it with the standard screen but if im on the mway i struggled with it. The big screen does spoil the look of it but i can actually stay on over 60mph

Just wondered down to Dawlish Warren today. Had a day off the bikes as all our clobber was still dripping wet from yesterdays journey to Newquay. No pictures though it was truly horrific my visor lets rain in and so did my waterproof boots Anyhoo we had a grey but dry day today and met a lovely man who was taking amazing pictures of a kingfisher. Lovely guy and has recommended a day of sightseeing which we will probably do on Saturday. Tomorrow we go for the bike and im so excited but also nervous !!! Just a couple of today but one reminded me of a certain Harley rider....

Well considering its November we couldnt ask for better. Its always a few degrees warmer than up north anyway so practically summer for us

Bull-it armoured jeggings. They are high waisted, stretchy and warm. Perfect fit and super comfy. HJC flip top hemet...fits perfectly. RST waterproof boots... warm and completely watwrproof but i have to go 2 sizes up to fit my hench calves in

My plastic handlebar cruise control thingie....hated it with a passion at first but i wouldn't be without it now.

It was and a bit of drizzle bit didnt dampen our spirits. Its been an awesome day

Not that exciting im afraid but only just landed and its dark. We have the gopro so will video my first ride on 400 EXCITING !!!!

Heading daaaan saaath today. The plan is to park van at Dawlish and then we can have a mooch on the bikes. While we are here though we are picking up the NC23 CBR400RR which @oldgrump has very kindly got running tickety boo for me. We are also going to call in to Gosport to visit Andys dad. Not sure how this is all going to happen but we are here now in Dawlish at the campsite. Heres a pic of our set up we took at the services. And hopefully a video..... I will upload more as we go Video is short. Dont know why as i recorded longer than that.
