From what I can make out, @Otto von Jizzmark and @Nute seem to have the same POV based on Science? Is that right?

But @Buckster has an opposing view based on Religion!

And @zzzak has another opposing view based on his conspiracy research!

    So we've got 4 different people.....but 3 different POV's. Is that right?

Anybody else want to join in with yet another POV?

My point of view is that religion has no place in the world these days, with the advent of widespread education it is now only the brain dead who believe what is written.

Science has a place as it allows us to know how old things are and how things are made.

Not believing that some made up friend made everything just means the believer hasn't quite grown up yet

Bible chronology puts the age of the earth to be at least 6000 years, the flood at around 4500 years ago. Despite all this young earth stuff, 6000 years is old but you have been conditioned to think in millions and billions of years by people who present unsustainable theories as facts.

And because something is written in a book it must be the truth and nothing but the truth.....

The bible is a load of made up fantasy shite that was put together purely to control those who couldn't read and write and instill fear in them to keep them doing as they were told.

And those who believe it is the whole truth are just extremists and need very closely watching

So you've bought no new bikes yet you still know manufacturer's warranties are worthless?

Well normally warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on, maybe Chinese ones are different, you may be lucky

What manufacturers have you bought new bikes from?

None... I don't buy new its not worth it, the depreciation as soon as you ride away is enough to put me off let alone all the teething troubles with new vehicles.... no thanks, I bought a brand new seat ibiza cupra in 2010 and that was in the garage more than on my driveway, put me right off buying new vehicles for life

    I like variety!

Also, it's out of warranty now...... so a long manufacturer"s warranty period is great peace of mind.

Cos this bike will be brand new.

Cracking Up Lol GIF warranties aren't worth shit, they will always try and worm their way out of paying

So I had a different like last week did I?

    Why wasn't I told?

Well this is the longest you've ever owned 1 bike for I'll give you that, I just don't get why you feel you need to change bikes so often

This is the first one of my bike-buying scenarios you've seen then Saul?

Long way to go yet......but when we're on the home straight I'll be putting up a Poll!

Why can't you just be happy with the bike you have instead of keeping changing it every couple of days

  9. Definitely getting them setup for weight of you plus the bike will/should make some kind of difference, but you'll still be working to the limitations of the limited travel of the rear mudguard?

Or isn't that going to be much of an issue?

Yeah its chilly out today eh, I'll be taking the bike out for a run to Sunderland to go get my new goggles.

Been told it could well be 4 to 8 years before I'll be needing varifocal goggles

Well im now back home with said new goggles, luckily I dodged the rain for the most part but its started raining here now.

@boboneleg just want to pick your brains abit so it rides fine though abit snatchy at low rpm and the idle when warm is rather high 1800-2200rpm and the it isnt sharp when i rev it takes a couple of seconds for it to return to idle and seems to sometimes run on 3 cyl.

I'm starting to wonder if the injectors are abit bunged up or something, I know it needs a service (plugs and oil+filter) but I wouldn't expect that to fiddle with the fueling with exception of the spark plugs but they were replaced in the service it had just before I bought it.

Would you recommend some fuel additive or something or dive right in with a full service?

You’d be faster even on a Vespa, dude!

You have a point, what has to have gone through someone's mind when they've stooped so low and bought a bike that is slower than a vespa

Been wasting time fitting an eBay fuel pump to a jag today only for it to buzz for a while and give up the ghost altogether when I tried to test it in a bucket of petrol.

The shed, car and overalls stink, someone give me a match.

The general poor quality of parts these days really does make you wonder if its all worth it doesn't it
