  1. Yeah, I reckon that once it's got some decent tyres on it the handling will be transformed.......you may be waiting a while though, I bet the current tyres will easily see out 20k kms! The gearbox and clutch are definitely very good. I found the seat a bit hard after a bit over an hours riding. I reckon that if they brought out a version with 65bhp and a bit more torque they'd sell them by the lorry load! But I think that the stock bike represents exceptional value for money. As to the fuel consumption, mine averaged around 90mpg! There's less to go wrong on it than the Beemer, it's newer and it's a Honda! You'll get bored with it before it's ever likely to breakdown!
  2. So that's how they keep the grass so short? I've often wondered........
  3. Some of the Facebook mob have increased the front sprocket by 1 tooth, as first gear is stupidly low!
  4. Well, I'm not really surprised. That was my guess in the previous poll. For me, I'd change the tyres, I really don't like those Dunlops. You'll be amazed how it sips fuel! You'll forget when was the last time you filled it up if you're not using it every day! And if this turns out as unreliable as the last one I'll personally come over there, slap you round the back of the head and take your driving licence away!
  5. Nope. I went with the CRF250L as there's probably more of them around.
  6. As I said, we've got them all! Housemartins and Swifts hoovering them up during the day and the bats taking the evening and night shifts.
  7. I have indeed, Pete.
  8. No it's Welsh and it makes a distinctive high pitched whine!
  9. You're still in Spain, right?
  10. DR650 for nostalgic reasons!
