We've had a couple of pretty spectacular storms over the last week. I was woken up at 4am on Friday morning by a clap of thunder that rattled the house! Struggled to get back to sleep afterwards too.

It's a condition of my insurance here that I have an approved lock and use it! Even had to send a photo of the lock and of the sales invoice for it to the insurance. I had my bike nicked way back and I lost a lot of money on the insurance payout, so the bike gets locked, even when it's in the garage here!

Expats doesn't just include brits.

I waste far too much time on Facebook, but it can be very entertaining. Especially some of the Expats in France groups! Never a day goes by without someone doing something stupid and then asking the group's advice on who they can sue! Then the inevitable follow-up post of their indignation when they went to complain about whatever and were met with the Gallic shrug! Endless entertainment.

I always ride the bike to where the photo gets taken, because I don't have a van and I'm fucked if I'm going to push it all the way!

Will there be a time limit between when a bike was ridden to where the photo was taken and when the photo was taken? Technically, @Skippy rode his bike to his garage, but there's just a slight lag between when that was and when the photo was taken!
