I've had 2 shafties....both from '83...XJ 750 Maxim & VF 750 Sabre. Both were pretty smooth, & I found especially w/ the Maxim, that if I upshifted w/o the clutch, that chassis jacking was almost non-existent. Both were a bit heavy feeling, but the Sabre felt heavier of the two....typical Honda...lol
Back in the Marmite Scottoiler subject. I fitted the eSystem to my CBF and moved the xSystem over to my Hornet.
Both systems were given to me but I am a Scottoiler convert so have actually bought a vSystem for the Sprint.
Was looking on Marketplace, noticed a car that I could be interested in having a look at, did a MOT check and noticed that I had searched this car before, so looked through Marketplace listing and the one I previously looked at is still advertised on there, same reg, same colour, same MOT expiry date, the new listing is in Doncaster, the other is in York..........do you think this is dodgy.
If you decide to hide it in the bike, remember to put the reservoir away from a heat source and in a place that doesn't heat up. If you do, the oil will become thinner and flow very fast, turning the rear of your bike and your pants into an oily mess. Ask me how I know this
