I've had the Dbl-D's for years on my Shoei & Arai lids.... they do feel more secure. But now I've gotten used to the latch-type on my Bell....although it can sometimes be a PITA w/ my 5 thumbs on my LH....

Was it ridden by one of your gay posse?

The floor where the end of the tape measure is is 8 to 10 inches below the step that you stood on to make the mark. So you have just admitted to being a short arse, caught yourself out.
-
This is my newest lid...should have gone with on size up...its a latch design....wasn't kidding about my large head has you can see...lol.
-
-
Where is the other end of the tape measure?
-
Here's the ultimate proof of my Viking stature...pic in the door way of my garage...I placed a mark at 6'4....and me standing next to the mark...now who's the short arse now Buckwheat ?
- Today

12 dummy...think Dan is 5"11..im so tall is had to duck to clear the door..lol.
-
Are there only ten inches in a Canadian foot?
-
I have both, both on Shoei helmets. I prefer using the DD type but the fixing points for the latch type are higher up in the lid and therefore hold it on my noggin more securely, at least that what it feels like. Thankfully ive never had to test either.
-
-
Given that I have a large head for my body type..I have both style..the latch tooth design is faster ..but the D ring feel more secure...
-
You are just closer to the camera, you are a short arse as well.
-
I haven't seen a double D helmet in ages. Having said that my last 3 helmets have been Nolans and all have the toothed latch, haven't thought about it for ages either.
-
What is your preffered helmet strap fixing ? I never really thought of this until someone gave me a helmet with a latch type fixing. I've always had double-d ring before and they feel much more secure to me .......... What about you ?
-
I know for dam sure now a Harley 117 cube with stage 1 has absolutely no chance in hell against my indian...after doing that 2000 km plus ride last weekend...
-
Got a little Busa in your coffee this morning...lol. ?
-
Im tempted...gonna check out the competition first and see what id be running against...like I've stated before its a Harley sponsor event , so I really don't think they would let me run in stock Harley class...
-
Martin that china-man from Quebec city looked surprisingly normal other than being on the short side...parents migrated to Canada in the 60...he was born in Canada...he handled that 22 pursuit really well for a short guy...His pursuit was fitted with a stage 2..Indian cams ..I was curious to see if there was any power difference between are two bike ..so we gave it go on a straight open with no traffic...not much difference at all..he pulled maybe a half bike length...
