Just cause you don’t share Bob’s interests or mine doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with them it’s your intolerance and your problem. You ride overweight slow unreliable barges that look more like something Liberace designed than an actual motorcycle and we don’t care or comment. You do you

Cold Hard Fact: It's much more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than it is to ride a fast bike slow....

Think Bob's sickness has spread to the site and a few members need help...lol

I've had this running debate with one of my mates as I am a fan of the new Z650RS retro and he keeps telling me that the old Z650 is a better bike because it is a 4 and I don't agree. More desirable maybe but dynamically a better bike no way. The new bike has modern brakes tyres and suspension, more power and is lighter. Much better bike to live with plus it is not 40 or 50 years old. I do like old Z650's and think they are very cool but my glasses aren't that rose tinted.

Could well have been worn out, CB200's were roundly used and abused back in the day. Not really valued by anyone L platers saw them as a poor second choice and commuters used them as dirt cheap transport.
-
Why? 185cc in one piston is naturally more torquey than two piston with almost half the size. The twin should be a lot smoother though.

Does anyone know how to register a phone number with multiple Indian call centers at the same time?

My plan for today ....picked up the osb boards yesterday, and will be driving to the rental place to get a lift...and finished off that roof finally.... Heard back from Indian warranty department..Tuesday and they approved the repairs, now they have to order parts..and wait maybe for a couple of weeks more before they come in....the dealer that we are stuck with totally sucks..they carry absolutely no parts ...the place is just to big and to many bike brands are being sold at one location... Have a look and their website and you'll see just what Im talking about..
-
Do you think the bike was simply worn out...with the paint being faded and all...figure a 200 twin would have a little more spunk than a 185 single ?

No marriage for me is impossible....maybe someday I'll tell you why...lol.

The GS550 and the Z650 were the ' go to ' bikes in my day

Yep, now I’m feeling broken

I just want something like I had back in the day for bimbling about. I had a spiffy red CB200 with a Polaris fairing which was, to be fair, dog shit slow compared to my mates 250's so it had to go. But I have always hankered after another for mooching about on, to ride the same roads that I used to. I thought I could have been on Ch1p's with that fairing given how rare faired bikes were back then. I actually really liked my CB200 as a bike and thought it was cool, which it was after getting off a Suzuki AP50. Nostalgia is a strong pull, I often find myself riding the same route and roads home that I used to when I was a teenager. I often do those routes on my CBF and though it's a stodgy old commuter in modern terms, but it feels like the best bike ever on those routes because it is in a different league to what I rode back then. My Dream bike then was a Suzuki GS550 like a couple of mates had, in direct comparison the CBF is worlds better IMHO.

I feel pity for the ones who are blind and can't see what happening at the moment in time....look outside your windows, Im sure many of you no longer recognize the places where you were born...the world has become a sess pool of evil....
