Just been out for a ride and the clutch slip has gone. Rebuilding the slave cylinder cured it Still got the tick over to sort out, kept it going today by just keeping the choke slightly cracked. Not ideal but good enough to check the clutch out. Oh and heated grips are a necessity came back shivering like a shit house rat today.

Here is the picture submission thread for Bike Of The Year 2025. Anyone can enter regardless of this year's BOTM previous winners. You can enter one horizontal picture of a bike you currently own, out on a ride in 2025. Don't worry about cleaning up the thread if you post more than one picture, I will consider the last one you post. On the 27th's afternoon/evening the vote will start, and submissions will have ended.

Looks like I am a clever twat, unlike you dullards.

I would check the known faults, that's why I would get another Dacia, know what to look for, and keep my present one for spares if needed.

Spending Christmas with my mum and my brother, just us three tonight. Day after tomorrow meeting with Sofia for a few days, and would like to take the bike and spend a full day to get there. Thinking of washing it in a bit, it's dirty from rain on the motorway and it's sunny out, but chilly so might not do it. I'm embarrassed to be on the same forum as @Saul
-
I think I have figured a way to do it but it might break the site.
-
What makes you think the other one someone else is selling for cheap won't have the same issues?

Been and filled the car with £35 of Asda,s finest E10, ventured into the shop for a few fresh vegetables, with luck we can avoid the place till the Saturday after New Year. Wish I had the enthusiasm for cleaning my car like @Saul has, mine is filthy on the outside and just as bad inside too, Been weighing up my options, i will run the car till mid summer, then look for a (cheap) car (most likely another Dacia) with a full years MOT on it, what with the rear axle, clutch and exhaust, it is kinda (getting/got) beyond worth the outlay.......I know it's a shitbox, but it has been a good car for the years I have had it. Merry Christmas to you lot.

My Mrs reckons I have got some sort of 'ism' but then again she is a cheeky bitch. I like shiney car and bikes, not fussed about expensive cars or bikes as long as they are interesting, work well and clean.

Nice one @Saul

I’m not taking advice from an idiot.

-

Congratulations me, unfortunately I cannot display the title as I need to figure out how to add it to admin.

Mostly in the touring department, everything is under wrap at the moment, but I don't expect any major changes, same old i predic, but 27 you might see something different...

If he does ...it will be the end of Harleys...

Which one, they are doing the Indian made entry level thing which is a good idea but they need to make it in the US. There are noises about reviving the Bronx which everyone wants but has been ignored by the previous board. It looks like the new CEO understands the importance of American made machines so hopefully we will see a shift back to that. They really need a proper Sportster as the current one does not fit, it’s crap and it just doesn’t fill the gap left by the old one. The next couple of years will be interesting.
