  3. Could have been a lot worse, could have ended up as a vegetable or @Marcel.
  4. Today
  5. Stopped at Southampton hospital on the way home from work to see a friend who had brain surgery last week. He had a non cancerous tumour around the nerve from his ear, removing it kills the nerve so he is deaf on that side and has lost some of the nervous control to parts of one side of his face, but given what he has been through he is doing pretty well. Makes you grateful to be (mostly) healthy.

  17. So it's pissing oil everywhere? That's worse. That will kill the moose babies.
  18. It's not leaking coolant numnuts...lol....oil...just enough to dirty the engine...anyway I've been sideline for 2 weeks now cause of weather...ive got to catch up on km.
  19. Careful, that leaking coolant will poison the soil.
  20. Wind finally let down...and 15 c weather is back.
  21. I saw a hare today while up in the Lammermuir hills, unfortunately it buggered off before I could get a photo of it.
  22. I got on the beans a bit today, the bike is producing a lot of torque right from 1500 rpm through to I don't know where as I haven't gone past 5000 yet. It produces more from tickover it needs less juice to get going. I reset the throttle response to standard which was definitely the right thing to do. At the top end where the lack of Horsepower was evident before it just keeps going now so bhp is well up. Acceleration is very fast, I was the A68 for a while and passed a ton of cars and bikes, probably a couple of Hyabussa as well but it was hard to see them as they disappeared in my rear view mirrors. Climbing up into the Lammermuir hills it never missed a beat and the torque was relentless. It's a lot nicer to ride now, feels like a different bike. The valve train noise is really smooth now and the bike sounds really nice, different from before. I also noticed the sheep ran off more quickly but that might be just because it's a Harley and they didn't want to get raped.
