  1. Past hour
  2. Extended brake pedal...I guess the previous owner was a tall dude...if your having problems reaching the pedal think I might have the original pedal setup for and from my old classic in the garage attic somewheres...so you wouldn't have to wear those ridiculous boots you wear....lol.
  3. Taken you long enough....lol.. what's the hold up...parts are slow to come in ?
  4. Today
  5. My bike is coming along fine, unlike your bodge job.
  6. Just don't have the time or the will to do it now...lol...im afraid that it will be sitting in my garage with parts spread out everywheres for a month or two....has Im riding the indian 90% of the time...
  7. Not sure exactly what this one has into it...it will be the third time that it's service...im keeping a close eye on the coolant overflow tank for now if I notice any level changes it will be parked...
  8. But I did get a few compliments for some older guys...Frank the salesman and and older dude from the service department has they only ones they've seen were mostly all trashed by now...most of these bikes were ridden hard off road..and not really looked after cosmeticly..the paint on this thing looks almost showroom new...lol.
  9. The water pump seal is a common failure on this bike, KTM brought out a better seal from what I remember.
  10. How's your bike coming along ? Still waiting for parts ? To be considered half and expert on this antic bike is actually a compliment now...lol I've come to the conclusion that people who use to be knowledgeable about these bikes are now retired or have moved on to another life...90% of the staff were either not born or babies when this bike was around..
  11. Yesterday
  12. I have no idea....he's running it below 4500 rpm till its first oil change... 4500 revs equals 90 kph...seems awfully high ...? ktm runs 120 just below 4500 rvs
  13. lol.....no such smell coming from the exaust....like I was saying it's now a secondary bike now . things would different if it was....its ridedable like it is now....i'll get to it this winter has a project...
  14. They were probably high from your oil vapours
  15. Oil coating makes sure it doesn’t corrode
  16. Too much bike for you
  17. Well I checked out Robertos bike...not to sure what to make of it or know much about it...but it's huge from the tank view...it looks awfully like a BMW...
  18. It was more leaking from the push rod side..it was leaving pundles in the skid plate...and certain parts now take to long to get in ...it's tolerable for now...till I get to it this winter ...I ordered a few parts today and it's gonna take about a month to come in...a fuse box cover and a few special bolts...
  19. How fixed is an oil leak that only leaks 50% of what it used to? Expert level mechanic skills!
  20. Today me and @Sofia rode to the Algarve, to then unload a truck full of rental bikes ready for our next tour. With guys arriving from Ireland through the day tomorrow. View from the hotel room: Bikes waiting:
  21. Yesterday I went to the opening of a new Trumph dealership in Porto, because Sofia was invited. I parked the GS on the other side of the street behind some cars The Speed Triple is, by far, my favourite current Triumph.
  22. Time will tell...I think Harley is trying to push up sales and intress on your side of the pond...have no idea how long intress will last...these aren't moto gp bikes material if you ask me...and belong in a different league....barge racing..lol.
  23. Bagger World Cup is international, not just North America. Far better for people to get into.
