The best bike I had for keeping dry was the Chinky, a good fairing, and it came with a summer (short) and winter (tall) screen, also the low pod mirrors ( same as on the Honda Pan) shielded and directed the rain away from my hands.

Spot on, I feel the cold because of the heart meds I’m on. I got the right thermal gear to wear but it’s not always convenient to change out of it at work so I appreciate it’s difficult for our friend with Reynards to ride to work in the colder months. She will be better off when she passes her test and can get something with more protection to ride. Her little CBR is good as 125s go but not ideal for cold weather commuting.

Hey Bob I think I've figured out why Buckster is in the U.S at the moment on a religious crusade...He beleive the big day has come...I beleive he's looking up and the clouds right this moment...but doesn't realize maybe he's already here...and his presence will be seen worldwide on the net...lol and will assend to the sky after the work is done...maybe The Big Book got things mixed up...try explaining someone from 2 thousand years ago.. what is the internet....

RIP Dell, so sorry i could be with the family at this sad time.. Lyn. Life is shite some times.
-
There's nothing worse than being cold on a bike, i can deal with getting wet but can't stand getting cold
-
Very nice of you Saul...

Finally got me TV working....after 2 days....now to catch up on some news...did I miss anything...Was @Buckster caught up in a sex scandal in Atlanta ?

The hot grips were a birthday present for my daughter’s friend who I got through her CBT. She is a genuine keen biker who sufferers from Reynard’s Syndrome so gets very cold extremities. Perfect gift I thought from our family to her as she commutes to Truro so genuinely needs them.
-
Got them on the scoot, previous owner fitted them, I myself have never turned them on, maybe if I rode in the colder months I would, but that is very unlikely to happen.
-
A decent set of grips is thems, I used them on my courier bike in 2012, couple them with bar muffs and you don't need gloves even in the coldest crappest weather, but id never advocate riding without wearing gloves

I'd stay clear of the woods...they might mistake you for one of their own and try to copulate with you... a Buckster Bigfoot mix breed...stuff nightmares are made from...

Our present broadband set up is OK at the moment, tv is fine, but we get buffering when streaming a film, we do not watch much TV, we mostly watch stuff that we have recorded.. Virgin is another provider who won't install full fibre in here because of the alarm system.....
