  1. Past hour
  2. I would post the video but the dog ate the memory card.
  3. Sometimes you can get an emulator that you plug in that makes the computer think it is still there.
  4. All those things can be removed fairly easily, the trick is to find someone with the computer hardware to re-programmed the unit...if Im not mistaken the computer has to be physically opened up , to remove or by pass certain things....so it has to be done by someone who knows what he's doing...if im not mistaken the ecu is ultra expensive...
  5. No adblue , its got one of those diesel particulate filter canister sitting on top of the engine , all computer control , with a bunch of sensors, it normally regenerate every 50 hrs or so , if you run at low rpm , under 2000 rpm , it will regenerate under 50 hrs...takes any wheres from 15 min to 1/2 hour for it to do its thing....all things that I would like to remove eventually....the engine bay is just totally cramped with shit, without access to anything..
  6. Today
  7. And then your alarm clock went off....
  8. Yesterday
  9. It is easy to delete an EGR valve, does it use adblue?
  10. Anyway diesel were at one time easy to work on , this is a total nightmare with this polution crap gizmos on it...ill be looking eventually to try to find a diesel shop that could possibly delele everything...
  11. Excellent idea Catt...to late for me to try that now...ill give it a go tomorrow maybe..
  12. Could be, if the lines are all good then the next stop is the fuel put and if there is a manual primer then that’s a possibility.
  13. I used to use some clear fuel pipe. Connect before and after the filter as nine times out of ten that’s where the prob is.
  14. Well I checked every fuel line , they appear to be fine...there's a manual hand pump above the fuel filter to when changing the filter, to prime it up again with fuel....turn the inginision..pump till it's solid and you can't depress no more....I noticed when you shut it off..minute after I can pump 3 good pumps in it...wondering if the diafram could be puncture or cracked...
  15. Probably just a bad seal on the fuel line, something perished probably as it is rarely used.
  16. Are you one ? What do you think it could be .? I would start by fitting a fuel pressure gauge to the rail and see if im loosing pressure when it's turned off...but haven't got any gauges that read that high...its a high pressure fuel pump...
  17. It’s a pity you don’t know a competent mechanic.
  18. The unit needs a minimum of 30 pto hp to run properly and thats what the tractor has when it's running properly...that's why I need to figure out why the air is getting in the fuel rail....
  19. Wasn't always this fortunate to own such a thing...I did freeze my arse off for many years, I remember countless nights shoveling snow at my father's house when I was boy , before snowblowers were invented...lol Before this tractor , I just had walk behind blowers...remember the first winter I moved to this place , the snow was so high I could touch the lower cable on the telephone pole...there was so much snow around the house I had to hire a payloader with a front mount blower to clear the snow around the foundation...since it was are first winter to this place...was affraid to get water in the basement when it starts melting...
  20. Figure you guys don't see many snowblower like this in where most of you live...since im servicing it , I'll post a few pics. About the blower itself it a pronovost commercial grade , they have 3 levels of blowers...the lyns , the puma , and the commercial one wich this one is..its 72 inches wide , 30 inches high at the main intake and I think the impeler is 26 inches. Its got 356 hrs on it , they are Canadian built , no China parts on these...lol...built in Quebec...it weigh 900 lbs..
  21. Went into Yarmouth this morn to watch the service. Mandi picked me up on the way home so we could get a breakfast. Pic was a little late sorry.
  22. My tractor Harley is acting up...unsteady idle...after I bleed the fuel line...its ok for a couple of weeks...then starts up again...there's air getting in there somehow...can't see anything external...I have no idea..maybe a bad injector ? Fuel pump..? Haven't got anything to test diesel engines...I might have to call the expert...was planning to change out the fuel filter today.. but I'll wait until I'll talk to diesel guy...im gonna services the snowblower insted...
  23. Yesterday - clearing up leaves and smoking the place out burning them. Today - village Remembrance Day parade / service. I have a lot of local military and ex military friends. They go straight to the pub from the service and stay there until chucking out time. I will wander up there in a bit for a couple.
  24. I wish I was like you!
  25. Been out washing Devon off the bike. All tucked away now nice and clean. And yes I know washing my bike in the rain is questionable in mental heath terms but the dirt was bothering me
  26. got out for an hour on the bike yesterday, nearly home whn i came across 2 "yoofs" on mobylettes ( 50cc bikes) they were busy dismanteling one of the bikes so I stoppe to see if I could help. They'd somehow managed to stripp the threads of the exhaust header fitting to the cylinder. They had a good selection of tools with them, and didn't seem overy phased by the situation. I went and got an assortment of bolts and washers from the nearby hardware store for them and left them to it. As night was falling I did check they had phones to call someone if they couldn't fix it. lovely day for a spin
