Pretty much Lyn....road repairs, local schools, street lights & City and County taxes....our wheelie bins are charged separately each month by a local Sanitation company.

So are you having trouble with your carburettor?
-
property taxes::: is that like our local Council taxes then ( your local Guberment tax for street lights and empty rubbish bins Roads repair ) that sort of stuff? Lyn.
-
Yes:::: I bought it years ago to do a Euro trip on with 4 other dickheads But Covid stopped the trip. Long before i had done the mods i had planned..ali rims with tubeless tyres and a 150cc kit for more Torq..few other bits. Then my mate had a big Heart attack, so i gave it to him to use as it was a third of the weight of his bike. Sold my Honda C70 ( one of dads bikes ) a month or so ago, so my mate returned my Innova ( ANF125i ) The earlier carb model was faster so a winter fixer upper....

Does that Beast have an enclosed chain?....looks like it. Always liked that concept...especially for winter riding.

Off again at last. Found plenty of shite in the float bowl. Needle valve looks fine, rubber still soft so fuck knows what's going on in there. The seat for the valve is tight and holds a vacuum with the valve in place and pressure come to that if I hold a finger over the hole. I'm going to reassemble with another new ethanol comp vale and see what happens. I may well cry a little if it doesn't cure the overflow and then burn the basted thing.

Both of our dogs just went through some dental issues in the last month. Got a good vet clinic 18 miles away that have been great to our dogs for the past 4+ yrs. Our 13 y/o Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix had an infection that made the right side of her snout swell up pretty good...anti-biotic shot & some cleaning....she snapped right out of it almost overnight. Then a week later, my 8 y/o Shorkie had 13 teeth pulled...didn't want her suffer from an infection...fortunately it all went well & both dogs are back to their old selves- being bossy & loud...lol All to the tune of just over $1100. It's been a spendy year thus far....I'm cringing over how much property taxes might be...which are due next month.

Feel for you Mate. i took the lads cat Zippy to the local Vets ( part of a uk group as most are today) they charge an arm and a leg the Bar-stuards >>> told me theyeye had to be removed and would cast 1 point 5 K What!!!! could be 2K if problems........Found a local 9miles away who do the farms and Horsey folk.. But good for families.. Total bill with 3 weeks care after the op to remove his eye £600.. and they called for 8 weeks to make sure he was OK.. Lyn/

Hopefully it will turn out to just be a cyst.

Shadow is home and safe in and a fair bit of pain but she will be fine in time, she will learn. In two years and 20,000 miles she has been down twice, her fault, and knocked off once, not her fault. I know I went down a few times at her age through being young and reckless so I am not too quick to judge her. I do trust her though she is good on a bike but still just 19 and thinks she is bullet proof.

Just getting back from the Vet...been dealing with my dog for a solid month trying to care for for it...she's 13 years old....to me it looked like somekind of cancer growth inside her left ear...some days she appeared ok and some she would scratch till it was bleeding....tell you the thruth...I was reluctant to take her to the vet...cause I didn't want to put the dog down...and in my mind...that's what I was figuring what the Vet would tell me to do... Called about a month ago...for and appointment....it's ridiculous around here...take that long to get and appointment....or you can call and emergency # where they spank you for 200 bucks even before seeing the dog...and you're talking to a chat bot when they first take your information....lol. We use to have local and privately family owned veterinary clinics...but now it's one of those chain stores Vet clinic... Make a long story short...this Sunday I made my mind to take her in....found a private owned vet clinic just on the quebec border and heard they will look at the dog...they give you one of those electric buzzer and you wait outside till it rings...

Are you trying to be funny...lol...I have friends from all over the world...and not internet friends like you have...lol.
-
Right, some “friends”

Glad she's ok Saul...but Dam ! How many times has she crashed..? I'd be worried crazy if I was in your situation every time she'd leave the house...not saying it's the case...but some just can't ride motorcycle...I have a few friends..they've been riding for years and they still can't ride ...some are so bad that I refuse to ride with them... Anyway wishing her a speedy recovery...might be time to get her two extra wheels...
-
Hope she recovers ok, it must be a dilemma to keep her on a bike because it’s so great for her vs the risks. Unfortunately motorcycles come with risks. is she home and comfortable now? ps: I am starting to think she might need a boxer / telelever BMW
-
She's keeping you busy Saul. She's young so will hopefully heal fast, faster than us lot anyway. Hope she's not in too much pain, shoulders can be a bitch.
-
Did you teach her how to ride? It's beginning to look that way.
-
Praying for a speedy recovery for Shadow...
-
All the best Shadow hope you heal quickly.
-
Bloody hell shadow, glad its not as bad as it could have been, hopefully she will make a full recovery and that she mostly isnt broken, just the bike and gear, which can all be replaced. Wishing her a speedy recovery
