Saul
11/4/24. First Damerells bike night of the season. Not many there around 25 bikes came and went but me and the youngest enjoyed the ride out and had a mooch around. Chloe has set her heart on getting a red CB500R like the one we saw tonight which is an achievable goal for her in 2 years. Got her a Dr Pepper and a sausage sandwich plus a blast down the A30 and she was a very happy bunny. So much so that I am apparently not allowed to go to a bike night without her now . Not sure if that will last but she is dead keen nonetheless. She did make me laugh as she compared her bike to the CB125F’s that were there and came to the conclusion hers was better. Ever got to the stage of pointing out one of the riders and say ‘look at that great lump he must be twice my weight, I would ave him on the road’ I of course said the sensible thing but it did amuse me, she has the bug.

I have always liked the GSX1400 and that was a real nice one, unlike his mates XJR1300 which was done up like a tarts hand bag. I am sure there was a decent bike under all that bling. I did chuckle, if you look at the picture with the AT in it the rider had a full 1 piece leather with a hump.

Pedro
You see a few guys in full leathers here, usually the 300kmh motorway racers are either in full leathers or jeans with the knees cut out
