Earache Posted Wednesday at 22:34 Author Share Posted Wednesday at 22:34 Stopped awhile later to take a pic of the sunrise - but the Sun was having trouble shining through all of the smoke in the air from Canadian forest fires...

Earache Posted Wednesday at 22:37 Author Share Posted Wednesday at 22:37 Stopped for a pee at a rest area and the Kansas Welcome Wagon pulled in behind me. But he was there to hassle a truck driver about something and paid little attention to me...

Earache Posted Thursday at 20:58 Author Share Posted Thursday at 20:58 But, made it to Indy and stopped to see my buddy Clint. The Ferrari that we brought back from Texas last year is going to paint this week. Then he'll do the final assembly in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see it done ...

I'm surprised that a bike that's specifically designed for touring is so thirsty!

I think maybe they're made for older guys who don't ride at higher speeds that affect the mileage so much. Can't think of any other reason why it'd have such a small tank and limited range.
Earache Posted Friday at 10:44 Author Share Posted Friday at 10:44 Dinner was burgers at a local spot last night - nothing spectacular there. Had a bourbon barrel aged beer with dinner. Worst shit I ever had. Trendy beer with a weird flavor of honey, vanilla and bourbon. 11% alcohol was nice though. Since they messed up our order, we got a free round of the same beers. So I had to drink 2 of these crap beers. $12 a bottle too - not worth it. 2
Earache Posted Friday at 10:46 Author Share Posted Friday at 10:46 Saved the night with a few old reliables at the hotel bar though. Cheap as chips here in Indy as compared to back home. $5 a bottle here and $8 in Colorado...
Earache Posted Friday at 10:47 Author Share Posted Friday at 10:47 Slept in today as the ride to Ohio is relatively short - 4 hours / 300 miles.. Will get going in awhile and stop by my bud's house on the way outta town.
