Marcel
A screew it..im doing it today..I'll show you how easily a rear tire swop is on a indian ...compared to a Harley... Step one, remove panniers and side cover...I'll add pictures later...think it can actually be done without removing the panniers but I'll clean the muflers wyll I'm at it... Marcel
And im doing this in actual time wyll posting this has I go ...and I'm certainly not rushing... Step two..remove caliper , and linkage pin so to un- couple the suspension linkage..pin held in place by a circle clip...make sure to mark the adjuster for the rear to get it has close has possible when reassembly.. Marcel
So you're probably thinking what's the big difference from a Harley...no need to mess around with the muflers, with rusted clamps and are a pain in the arse to remove at times...if only Harley had compitent engineers...lol.

Marcel
Well made it back with the truck...without any mechanical failure...lol. Oh gonna tell you a little story , we get at odd times ...transient vagrant passing through the town on rare occasions during the summer...been a week been noticing this one..when going to the coffee morning hours...ripped up clothes dirty has hell.with a winter coat and a hoodie in this 30c plus weather....on my way to get my truck...this transient was walking on the side of the highway...walking in the same direction I was going...I almost stopped and offered it a ride..but the traffic was to heavy and im not in the habit of picking up hobos... On the way back...that same person was sitting down next to the white line...mixing bottles of water or something...I pulled over and ask..French or English..turns out it was a elderly women..maybe 50 or so...I gave her 20 dallors and a bottle of water...told her its for food ..not drugs...pour things she's was actually about 70 km from the nearest next town... Marcel
Anyhow I'm regretting not giving that transient a ride to the next town....poor thing started crying when I gave her the 20 dallor bill...nothing but moose infested, bears , and coyotes the size of German shepherds for the next 70 km...
