Bummer, and a bit scary....never heard of such a thing happening...

I missed that, how did it melt?

About 2 hours. Which was a pain on the bike, but in the 4Runner I can do short recordings so it feels like you get more.

They are not bad actually. I film at 2.7k as 4k is just too much file storage for me. Maybe that helps. It's hard too because I have a bunch of older GoPros and they are horrible now, so the 10 seems good.....lol The stable horizon with the 10 is what I like most as you can see when the vehicle goes over bumps and stuff.

Going through some travel footage today and starting my week 2 video. The scenery just gets better. It’s fun to watch as when you are driving it is sometimes hard to admire your surroundings. Looking forward to week three as I started using my GoPro 10 and the quality difference is noticeable.

Went out for lunch today to this awesome spot by the water. It’s down a few backroads and in the middle of nowhere, but the food is great and the scenery was lovely.

Did anyone leave?

No please don't go.... I won't last a day without your reasoning, the other guy doesn't like me....
-
I didn't know.... What the hell has been going on? Just the usual as far as I can tell.

Canada isn't cheap, but if you make it here I will buy you a beer, or tea if that's more your thing.

I know how migraines can ruin your day. Mine got better after some acupuncture and less computer time.

Yes, it's normally is a bit greener. There was a super later Spring this year. Things stayed cold for way longer than normal. So ya the colours are worn out winter colours still. It made it hard to travel north as the cold just wouldn't go away.

That's ok, I don't smoke cigars anymore.....

Just managed to get my vote in! Think I broke the tie....

The temps back east are crazy. As the Tropical Cyclone brought you rain yet?

Thanks It has been a busy month. I hurt my back and wasn't good for much for about a week, feeling better now. Then the van had a few issues, nothing out of the ordinary for the Dodge Promaster's, just a broken water pump. But that meant nursing a coolant leak for about a week. Then there were electrical recalls on the RV section of the van, so that meant a trip into the big city, which was an adventure. Broken ferries, long waits, driving during rush hour through the city in the dark......craziness. It got cold for a few days so we had to figure out how to winterize the van and stay warm. We had a bit of snow, but it is gone now. Over all our winter spot is working out well and now I need to find some time to get the canoe into the water for a paddle. Oh, and I was offered a job in the Yukon for the summer. Not sure if I am going to take it, but fun to get the offer. How are you Pete? I haven't been around much to keep up on the happenings....

I agree, burn pits are cool!

I found some time to edit some of the dash cam footage I collected from my journey. This is our first week. I am not sure if I will ever get enough time to edit it all, but this first week was important for my own memories.

Makes weekend party plans and 10 mins later he goes wild…. Pace yourself or else Pete will do that thing again that no one likes..lol

Hope you feel better soon.

Just have to say, the reality of anyone here owing and actually using Photoshop seems low. Adobe software is not really what everyone uses, at least outside of the professional world. Most people just use the software provided on their phone or computer. So it’s another brand that has become a description. A little editing is just part of digital imaging as it was in the darkroom with negatives. Always some editing, just keep it reasonable and it’s fine by me.

Welcome @Saul I had a Himalayan for a few years. I had a lot of fun on mine, but it was cursed from the start and had lots of issues. I worked most of them out, as the bike is easy to work on, but it kept me guessing some days. Enjoy your new ride!
