Oh yes, going North that is a concern. They are very active right now as well. I have lived around Black Bears for years and they are not what I worry about. The grizzly bears are another matter, I will do my best not to get eaten... I have seen a few bears on my journey so far, but never too close for comfort.

Oh yes....good point, don't run around in the thunder & lighting trying to get a photo....

It was recently brought to my attention that people still feel that wearing socks with sandals is an odd thing. Never understood this, I figure whatever is comfortable can not be wrong.....or is it just me? -
My travels are taking me north again. . Tonight and tomorrow I am camped at yet another beautiful lake, tucked into the forest for shade from the warm weather. I am excited as the weather people are calling for a crazy summer storm tonight with thunder and lightening, which will break the heat hopefully. I love summer storms! Then on Sunday I hit the road and start getting back into the mountains.

That's how I roll I was waiting for someone to mention that. Funny how that really gets some people, who the hell made that rule anyway, who ever it was could not have been Canadian. Toes get cold, sandals are comfy, end of story...

I completely agree, at night that same lake would freak me out.....and it is for sure from too many horror movies as a kid.....

Spending the weekend at a small lake. My favourite time is first thing in the morning when the mist is floating across it.

Waiting for a ferry right now, heading off the Coast again with Mom in the backseat. Heading North again! Will be a fun day of driving mountain roads! Have a great weekend everyone.

….ok, I’m actually excited for you, the GoPro10 is a lot of fun. I have enjoyed mine. Just a side note, 2.7k is still great footage and a lot less on storage space compared to 4K. The linear setting is also nice, unless you like to make things look a bit wide and slightly distorted, which could be your thing….
