Grasshopper

Funny enough my old house got just as cold as it wasn’t insulated well when it was built. When the wood stove went to sleep the place would get chilly. The Coast never used to get this cold or snow this far south. I actually find the van a bit easier to warm up.

It snowed on and off all night. Calling for more on Friday. We did loose power last night and it got really cold. My down sleeping bag sure came in handy.

Lovely, so it dumps wet snow all day, it's building up on the trees, on everything. Then the weather people are putting out snowfall and wind warnings.....seriously.... Fingers crossed that the power does not go out, could be a cold night. We could be buried alive...lol If you don't hear from me again, it's been fun....

First snow on the Sunshine Coast today. Went out for a drive to get some wintery experience. It sure is coming down now....glad to be back and snuggled into the van for the afternoon.

To start the week I went for a walk to the shore. A quiet moment to sit and listen to the water hitting the rocks. The tide was high and you could feel winter’s chill in the air. A lovely way to start the day.

Packing up the canoe today and taking her to a friends place for storage. I am a bit sad leaving her behind, but I think it is for the best considering the winter weather I will be driving through. Two weeks from today I depart.

What do you mean, will do for now, the donkey makes it a winner for me!

Had a fun experience today while I was out and about. I had this nice couple come up to me and asked if I was the Grasshopper. I said, why yes it is I. They said how much they enjoy my YouTube videos and stuff like that. Made me smile.

Party On! Everyone is already into the sauce so I guess I should get caught up!
