Bearing With My Himalayan - Part 2 - Fork Removal The time has come to change the front steering bearings in Bagheera, my 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan. Bagheera has 6000km on him and that might seem early for a bearing change, but I believe the conditions I ride in can wear things out on the bike a bit faster. It's a great opportunity to learn more about my bike and as usual things never go according to plan, so this has turned into a multi-part video. In this episode we remove the forks and the steering stem while sharing some casual garage chit-chat. ??

I just got back from a beautiful sunny ride through the forest. Plan on riding tomorrow and Sunday if possible. I need to finish up Part 2 of my Bearings YouTube video for launch tomorrow. Then start Part 3, one video a week is a bit crazy for the editing I need to do. But my fans demand it.......

I get this sort of thing ALL THE TIME......OH NO LADY ON BIKE......danger! It is mostly from the Indian community I am around due to owing a Royal Enfield. All the time, out of the blue I will get... "oh ma'am be safe" "ma'am seriously take care" "be safety ma'am' I know they mean well and are very kind hearted, but like they would know if I feel into a ditch and died after a logging truck flattened me. But hey thanks for caring. I have no intentions of hurting myself....?

Now.... for the social part of the forum. It reminds me of the TV show Cheers. Some people are familiar and some are not. Friendly atmosphere and a good vibe for sure. I am getting to know some of you better and enjoying every minute of it, hairy bums and all. I love joking around with everyone. Technically speaking....I find this forum to be: - bright & clean (not speaking of content, but layout and appearance) - nice open concept, easy to read - fun profile customization - well managed, seriously. Pete you are always there and aware of what's going on. You do a great job. - the back end (no not a bum) the SEO, the server maintenance and such.. is well managed - I like the option of easy emotional responses as well as commenting - the messaging system works great Ok I could go on, but no need.
