  1. The World's Largest Fiddle.....now there is something to be proud of. https://www.cbisland.com/businesses/worlds-largest-fiddle/
  2. I love the F850GS The F750GS is also very nice, more street, but I like it too.
  3. The used market here is over priced. I do like new. I get to break it in then. ?
  4. I am trying to keep it within a $10,000 CAD budget so that limits my options this time around.
  5. I want a street bike to enjoy the coastal highways. I want something 500cc to 900cc. I am leaning towards the Honda CB500F. It would be my going into the city bike and maybe short camping trips on Vancouver Island with some soft luggage. I just want to experience a different bike, as perhaps a stepping stone to a bigger bike for a trip across Canada.
  6. OK, Dad! Have you not seen my muscles? ? Dude, I work out, I got this.... Here, hold my beer...
  7. I think when I leave home with driving up the coast on the twisty corners on a warm sunny day when the tarmac is just right I will be happy to be on a street bike. Then the next day I go out with dirt on the mind and that only. I am at an age now where I can control my urges and when I set out with a plan I follow through.... There is room for both fun times!
  8. That is what my Himalayan is for.......I want both worlds ? If I get a more street geared bike then I can make the Himalayan even more dirt worthy.
  9. I am not looking for HP.... Anything will feel fast compared to my Himalayan. ? Sometimes I like more balance between power and weight.
  10. Why thank you for your suggestions, they are appreciated from such a wise individual. ? I have looked at those for sure. The CBR650 is nice. The 4 cylinder does sound good and it is super smooth.... But the 500's are on "special" right now. The CBR500R is sexy, but I might go with the naked version, CB500F
  11. Handle bars you mean? I'm going for a more up right position, not so much leaning on the bars and tank. The CBR500R has that......
  12. Well I have been shopping again, I can't seem to shake the desire for another bike. Not to replace the Himalayan, but something that provides a different experience. I keep going full circle and end up looking at sporty street bikes. All smooth and sexy they are......
  13. Thanks for watching! I wasn't going to get the tools, but I am glad I did. Stay tuned, next week the grease comes out! .
  14. Greetings from the Grasshopper! ??
  15. Bearing With My Royal Enfield Himalayan - Part 3 - Off to The Races The time has come to change the front steering bearings in Bagheera, my 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan. Bagheera has 6000km on him and that might seem early for a bearing change, but I believe the conditions I ride in can wear things out on the bike a bit faster. It's a great opportunity to learn more about my bike and as usual things never go according to plan, so this has turned into a multi-part video. In this episode we remove the bearings and races while sharing some casual garage chit-chat.
  16. Wow, I love those sandstone sculptures. Great photos.... ?
  17. Don't forget there was boobies and maple syrup, you missed a party @Richzx6r
  18. Please refer to the above comments for the answer to your inquiry. ?
  19. They are dark chocolate with white chocolate chips. Very tasty thank you very much!
  20. Nice thread idea Bob, I like tools. I like the old stickers, all my tool boxes are covered in stickers. I just picked up this little set for the bike's tool kit......so cute. ? Yes, tools can be cute! ?
  21. Good Day / Evening Folks Super cold here again today, not sure if I will get out on the bike. Yesterday was fun, but they spray the roads down with a chemical spray to prevent ice and it just coats the bike. I don't like it. Oh well, my cookies turned out well yesterday, so it might be a day of warm tea and cookies!
  22. Managed to get out for a ride in the end, the sun came out and melted the frost. ? I used my GoPro software to create this short, not really up to my standards, but fun to share.
