You underestimate how little i need to be happy. It's the simplest things in life i appreciate now although i won't deny more money would help me out but only to help me retire earlier. I'm in a position in life where i find i don't really want anything more than what i have the only thing i desire is not to go to work everyday.

For me this year has gone there was more good things than bad and i cant do nothing about anything in the past so looking forward to next year with hopefully more biking, camping and living the way i want, there are things that could fuck up for me but not even worth thinking about unless they happen so just going to look ahead at what i might do instead of looking behind at things i should have done bring on 2024

Tomorrows TRF Christmas ride has been put off to Saturday because of the weather which is a good job because i woke up yesterday morning suffering from the flu and was totally destroyed all day, i just had a tickly throat the day before so the way i felt yesterday was a total surprise, this morning i was RAF but started feeling ok late afternoon and have a slight cough now so if the ride was still on tomorrow i wouldn't be going. Last Christmas i was i'll for the two weeks i was off work (not a flounce as @XTreme said ) and was unable to do anything but was ok when i went back to work FFS so next year i think i'm going to get the flu jab to see if it makes a difference. It's bad enough being ill in work but its a real kick in the nuts when your on holiday.

But it's true i always put a vote on using my gut feelings just in case i didn't get a chance to vote later on and with all intension i wanted to revisit the polls when i had a bit more time to think about it and vote properly, in this case the ones i voted for won or should i say one lost and the other won lol

I was hoping to get out on it but the bloody weather is shit for this coming week, out with the TRF on the Beta on Wednesday and there's a yellow warning for rain. Thursday looks the best day but i need to get the rest of my handrailing stuff and finish the job that day hopefully without incurring any additional costs in the process next Saturday might be an option though

I'll have to use this one, i don't own the 2022 bike anymore so i can't use any of those photos and that was the bike i used most this year

I had a little run on the 650 today mainly to test it after putting in a slightly larger pilot jet as it would always stumble just as you took it off idle never stalled but it was a bit unnerving sometimes. It seems to have disappeared but was only out for an hour or so and the bike didn't get very hot due to the amount of water running down the roads so will know for sure when i can get out on a dry day I then took the Beta out for an hour as i have fitted rad guards which meant taking the radiators off to fit them, so i wanted to check the cooling system was still good before the TRF Christmas ride on the 27th. The Beta feels so light, agile and responsive after getting straight off the 650 onto it mind you only having 6psi in the front tyre of the 650 didn't help LOL. I really like this bike i liked the old one but for some reason this one has really got under my skin its so good to ride even though it was pissing down. The rad guards
