About 4 years ago i bought these boots and they turned out to be the best all purpose boot in the world half the price of a SIDI and are still waterproof now. Also have a good tread for exploring and climbing about to get a new pair as their on offer at the moment local to where i work https://www.dirtbikexpress.co.uk/boots/adventure_boots/forma_adventure_boots/forma_adventure_boots_-_brown

I cant picture this on the bike when are we going to see a photo of it fitted
-
Yes that's what i like about living here the hills hide allot and can give you a feeling of remoteness even though its not. Your never far from a road and all the dumped rubbish reminds you of that

Bob there was one about 5 miles from me a few months ago with about 4000 miles on it and immaculate, the guy wanted £3500 for it i was so tempted but resisted, i need to ride one to see if its really that much different to the dog. One of the things that does put me off is the huge seat height on them

Very little tonight Pedro i had intended not to go off the beaten track at all. I rode about 60 miles, probably only 10 miles of that was unpaved

Decided to take the 650 out tonight for a stomp around the valleys, ended up on a disused railway line probably for taking the stone from the quarries it passes through. The flat topped mountain in the background is called the Sugar Loaf and stands at a massive 596 m LOL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_Loaf,_Monmouthshire I think I've post photos of this place up before but was just passing through with a mate so decided to have a look around tonight. When taking this photo i spotted something i wanted to take a closer look at Cool a cave the old man in me said move on next thing i'm looking down on the bike. A bit disappointing looking around but i'm sure Pete's mate could sell it LOL Stopped to take a photo of the old iron works in Blaenavon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blaenavon_Ironworks And a ride up over the British heading home, in the distance is the Bristol Channel and Bob land

Why we don';t leave our doors open at night...

I don't know of any dogs with seven legs -
It was fresh snow with no ice, tyres gripped OK so studs not needed, riding with caution was essential though

@XTreme I'm actually using Motul in my CRF1000 i cant say i noticed any difference between what Honda used and Motul, all the other bikes are old and were designed around mineral oil so i just use a cheep semi synthetic oil of the correct specification. On my old VFR750 i only used Castrol GTX mineral oil for cars (before the friction modifiers) and that bike covered 64000 miles on it when i owned it.

I think a lot of Honda's bikes are going that way haven't noticed it on other makes yet -
If the oil was any good the tick over would be higher because of less friction with the oil you better change back to the other stuff Motul is slowing you down
-
The problem i have with the "what oil is best" question is the people answering that question are the ones who are making millions of pounds a year from it and their not going to say their product isn't as good as someone else's.

Unfortunately not the food Bob if it was i could get around that. Lack of cash and other commitments getting in the way of my life I sold a bike to fund that trip and it was worth it ?
-
Bob you really got to learn to pull your pants up after taking a dump

I think you will find that makes Bob thicker than me

@XTreme Fibre optic here as well, When they first installed it they gave you the choice of dial up for free or broadband for something like £4.99 a month, they just didn't understand just how cheap the welsh were, everyone was on free dial up for years until they started charging close to the broadband price for it then dial up just disappeared LOL
