Hoping to Bob got the bike MOT'd yesterday ready for it. If its pouring down i'll just take the marmite wagon and sleep in that. Its a good weekend if you like that sort of thing

I don't know why its such a big problem for some people just seems like common sense to me

I'm hoping to go to a biker party on the bank holiday and they've just posted the covid guidelines they have to follow, It's kicking off with concentration camp and i aint going anywhere where i have to show my papers comments. All i can say is if you cant follow the guidelines then good because we don't fucking want you there. I can see it all kicking off at the gate on the day

Yes the team with the most convincing actors win i think the balls just there as a distraction

Tomorrow i have an MOT on the CRF1000 and might have a ride about cant remember the last time i was out on it. I think Sunday i will be cheering myself up by smashing the XR off some rocks there might be some mud and water to splash through as well

Are you happy riding pillion?
Sir Fallsalot replied to Slowlycatchymonkey's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
I was always a pillion before i passed my test after that i was the rider and that's the way its always been. I think i would be ok as long as some twat like my younger self wasn't riding. Back in my 20's i was just riding around looking for things to race as you do when i see this guy around Abergavenny way thumbing a lift carrying a helmet, i stopped to give him a lift he was going to Tredegar about 10 mile away. I shot off hitting speeds over 140 between the heads of the valleys roundabouts which was pretty normal for me back then, the fucker was squashing the life out of me he was holding on so tight, when i pulled off for Tredegar i asked where to he insisted the roundabout was fine and he would walk from there, i got the impression he couldn't wait to get off for some reason -
And that reminds me of this are you sure you weren't private Pyle
-
That reminded me of this

I can say from experience that rear brake reservoir won't work i had the reservoir off the XR on mine and when the pads got low the brake stopped working from lack of fluid there's far less in that bit of pipe

The top box is spoiling too much of the view to be a BOTM photo
-
When i popped out for my beer earlier i couldn't believe the amount of people in town heading for the pubs
-
I think your winning him over @Pedro
-
I was thinking the flexible part of the pipe was to allow you to get at the frame oil screen without removing the whole pipe but vibration is something i was thinking about

Plenty of those here but not what i want
-
The key thing here is 2010 it is now 2021. i paid £1600 for my XR400 in 2008 and you wont buy a tidy one for less than £3000 now
-
It will still sell for stupid money if it was proper non running money i could have sacrificed parts off the dog to get it sorted but then i'm fixing things again
-
Tempting but the comments saying the bike does not start and engine rebuild has alarm bells ringing knowing what i know about mine
-
LOL i was looking at that earlier i need to make room before i get another. There's just nothing new out there i like unless it's a chinky bike but the problem with that is it's a chinky bike
