Well there we are! I got out and did something......and in doing so, I made a positive contribution to the forum!
Class!
I like the picture with the hill behind the bike, spoiled by the topbox but there you go.

Rode north up to spend the week at my parents’, 250km on the motorway at perfect temperatures, 20/25°, just lovely. Didn’t feel like leaving my place, though.
On the way here stopped at a gas station and went over to help a british couple that looked like were having trouble with a tire. Turns out they just didn’t know how to put in the coin into the tire compressor. They were very surprised to learn it was free They were also very displeased with all the bugs splattered on their otherwise shiny Kawasaki GTR 1400

There could well be a possibility of that, but for that first he'd need to own a bike wouldn't he?
Give him half ownership of yours, problem solved.
Plus, nobody needs anything to join an internet forum.

Herfoss no# 1 race one ...today...will see who wins tomorrow..
What’s the point of watching racing to determine the best touring cruiser though? Might as well watch proper racing like the Bol Dor to then sell your Indian / Harley to buy a Suzuki / Yamaha.

Great value for the money , good travel bike but a bit overkill for pure trail riding. Tall but you can get a lower version.
The reliability remains to be seen
Is it good for going out for a coffee via dirtroads while pretending to be a dakar racer?
I might be in that niche market
ps: screw the lower version, doesn’t look like Gaston Rahier’s bike.

What are your thoughts on the Kove after what you’ve seen so far?

Great shots!
None of my family before me, or after me, have had bikes!
My grandad rode a motorcycle once. An army BMW, trying to get from the base to the nearest town pharmacy, he rode it through a fence and into a field instead
That, as far as I know, is my family's motorcycling history.
My other grandfather was very happy to upgrade from walking to work into riding a bicycle to work when he was young.

Glad I got this cos the old hump pump is obviously misreading......front tyre was too low and the back one too high.
Forget about using pumps for measuring or adjusting tire pressure if you want to be precise, particularly chinese crap like that.
Get a good quality tire pressure gauge with a release valve, any motorsports online shop will sell them. Use any pump to overinflate the tires a little, then adjust using the quality tool made for that exact job.
Something like this:

I meant it as a compliment. Must be a great feeling.

Beautiful weather today....decided to ride BEFORE I handled some more yard work Rolled past the Cemetery rd. onto Clark creek rd. for a few miles.... it's a shame the road doesn't get too close to the creek, mainly cos it's fenced off due to mainly it being some farmer's property.
I've learned that keeping it in PA level 1 or 2 conserves on battery life while still maintaining a consistent 15 mph w/o too much effort.
I didn't quite make it to where it gets a bit steeper & climbs away from the creek more for better views....that'll be for another ride when I have more time & battery life.
All in all, a good ride for some exercise in this glorious weather...away from all the BS I used to have to put up with on the left side of OR! Now to race home for a bit more yard work before the Mrs. & I cooled off @ the local watering hole only 3 blocks from home.
Nice gravel road!

On a Harley, what counts is the quality of the acceleration, not actually accelerating. It's steady and solid acceleration you want, not rapid and agile acceleration. Weight and dense mass instead of unstable lightness!

Thank you Pedro, I want that car or the UK spec equivalent. I wouldn’t give my E46 up for much but I would for a spotless E30.
It's not spotless though, it´s been abused (largely by me), is in serious need of love.

Going out to dinner with a couple of friends tonight, it looks like rain tonight so on´t want to take Maria's soft top as the top soaks up, decided to take the 320 even if it's in need of a proper service. Who needs brakes anyway?
so just for @Saul:
One main beam bulb was out, so got two and just fitted in 10 minutes, two Osram bulbs for 5€
Then checked the stoplights since I had a warning on the onboard "computer", as soon as I pressed them the warning went out, will look into it. Marvel in the sound of a rotting exhaust
And since it'll be parked outside for a while, also turned the alarm on, which surprised me by working perfectly after many years switched off!
There you go, happy motoring out to dinner!

I resent the term wank panzer, more specially dedicated to me, and with a topbox too!!!
I like the blue Harley with the ghost skull, very cool!
